Chapter 11

At Snape's laboratory 🧪

"You're up to Malfoy a lot I guess" Severus said looking at Kath attentively.

"Is it so obvious?" she asked smiling.

"I asked you to give me a pot with lacewings. Why the hell do you hand me snake's skin?" he said arching his eyebrow.

Cath   smiled widely and handed lacewings to Snape.

"Sorry, Sir. I though too much" she said. 

Snape arched his eyebrow again holding his smile.

"I'm happy for you. But be so kind and switch on your brain when you're at work" he answered.

"Ok, Mr. Grumpy Bat" she said.

Snape was standing on the ladder. Cath pinched his leg.

"Hey, you'll get it now!" he said grumpily.

"Shut up and sit here. Or the ladder can break...accidentally" she said laughing. 

"What the hell? Who am I friends with?" Severus said.

" I'm learning from you" Cath said laughing.

At this moment Harry, Ron and Hermione were walking pass the laboratory.

"Whaaaat? Snape can laugh?? Pinch me!" Ron said with his mouth opened.

"Yeah, guys. This is historical moment" Hermione said with her eyes opened wide.

  Harry looked at laboratory's confused. At that monent Cath went out of the laboratory. Snape followed her smiling slightly. Guys were looking at this picture shocked.

"Hi, guys. Did you want something?" Kath asked.

Snape's face became grumpy again in a second. 

"Hello, Ms. Wilson" Ron said "I wanted to make it clear...ugh...for healing potion it's better to cut or grate snake's tooth?"

"Weasley, instead of bothering Ms. Wilson open the book and read the recipe" Snape thundered.

"Professor, it's not a problem for me to answer" Cath said.

"Ms. Wilson, if we give answers to students, who will be studying then?" he said flickering his eyes "Young people, get out or you'll get a detention" he said.

  Guys went to the lessons. When they were leaving, Cath showed to Ron the first answer with her finger. Ron nodded thankfully.

"You're incorrigible" Snape said looking at her grumpily.

"No, you're incorrigible. Don't be so mean. And don't scold me. I'm not your student!" she said looking at him angrily.

"Well, I scolded you. But you gave the clue to Weasley despite I told not to do so. I guess we're even"he said.

"Ok. I won't spit in your pumpkin juice at dinner" Cath said.

Snape smirked. They went to the Great Hall for dinner.

 This evening Cath found near her door a huge basket of scarlet roses.

 There was a note inside: 

"I miss you, Kitty. Come to my house tomorrow evening. Hug and kiss you everywhere. Your insatiable Lucius."

 And again this crazy smell of his perfume on the envelope. Cath smiled widely and went to sleep waiting for the next evening.

 Next day lasted painfully  long. Finally the evening came. Cath put on the green dress which she was wearing when Lucius first met her at quidditch match. She went out of Hogwarts and apparated to Malfoy manor.
 Lucius met her near the gates. Be hugged her tightly and kissed passionately.
