Chapter 6

"Ohhhh," a faint voice came from Lop. Ruj, who was sitting at the end of the bed reading a book, immediately turned to look, then got up and walked over to find that Lop slowly opened his eyes. Both eyes turned slightly red from the fever.

"How are you feeling Lop?" Ruj asked Lop's condition first.

“Who the hell is that?” Lop's hoarse voice sounded.

"Um, it's me," Ruj replied back. Looking at Lop's expression, it was enough for Ruj to to know that Lop must be feeling dizzy.

"Headache, dizziness too, " Lop said after a few moments of silence.

"Can you get up and eat so that you can take some medicine and then go to bed?" Ruj asked. Lop shook his head slowly.

"Come, I'll help you, " Ruj said back before slowly helping Lop get up to sit. Lop looked at the face of his best friend near him with a strange warm feeling in his heart but didn't say anything.

“What about work?” Lop asked about work.

“ I have told Khun Kamol that you're sick. The master told you to lie down and get well first. Then get back to work." Ruj said back.

"Then you're not working?" Lop asked in a dry voice. Ruj hurriedly picked up a glass of water for Lop to drink. The warm water running down his throat made Lop feel a little relieved.

“I was told to take care of you. As for Ai'kit, he went to work," Ruj said and Lop nodded his head in acknowledgement. Ruj put his hand on Lop's forehead to check his temperature again.

"You're still hot," Ruj said in a tense voice. Lop remained silent.

“Wait a second, I'll go get some porridge. Aunt Nee has made it since morning. Wait for me to warm it up for a while." Ruj said before getting up and going to the kitchen in the house. As for Lop, he sat in the room with his eyes wide open. Ruj soon came back with a bowl of fragrant rice porridge.

"Let me feed you," Ruj said heartily.

“I can eat it myself,” Lop replied in a low voice.

“No, save your energy. I'll feed you myself," Ruj said, smiling back. It made Lop feel the warmth and tenderness in his eyes and seeing the smile of his best friend  made Lop feel his heart beating faster. But Lop tried to think that it might be because he was sick so he was feeling a little nervous. Ruj took the boiled rice up and blew it lightly enough to cool off, then fed it to Lop. Lop opened his mouth to eat with ease and chewed slowly. Ruj continued to feed him.

📳 Tring... Tring... Tring

Ruth's phone rang. Ruj picked it up to look at it before pressing to answer the call.

📞 "Oh, what's Up..... woke up just now. I'm feeding him porridge...... hmm. ..his body is still hot..... well, don't worry, you're at work..... hmm Wait, I'll tell you... well," Ruj said, looking at Lop's face as well before hanging up when finished talking with Kit. Lop raised his eyebrows slightly as if asking who called.

“Kit called to ask about you," Ruj said, Lop nodded his head in acknowledgment while thinking of his other friend who left for work.

“he told you to eat a lot of food. If you don't eat a lot, you'll find him, well," Ruj said jokingly.

“He can threaten even the sick person,” Lop grumbled, but smiled lightly. Ruj continued to feed him rice but could only feed a few bites. Lop shook his head and didn't eat it anymore.

“If that asshole knows that you only ate a little bit, You'll see it soon." Ruj said because Lop had eaten very little.

‘'I'm bitter. Besides, if you don't tell him, he won't know. You don't have to tell him," said Lop, his voice hoarse pitifully until Ruj let out a small breath.
