Cyno's POV:

Tighnari wanted to go out for a walk he said. I agreed 'cause we had like 7 hours before the prom could start. As soon as Tighnari finished getting ready, he got up, took his hat and put it on before leaving the room, saying theese few words before leaving.

"Get ready. I'll be waiting downstairs." - T

With that he shut the door and I began getting ready aswell. I picked out a pretty casual outfit, similar to Tighnari's. As I've finished, I picked up my wallet and headed straight downstairs, where I saw Tighnari talking to my father.

"Yes. Thank you for taking me in!" - T

"Glad to hear." - Mr. M

I slowly approached them, joining in the conversation.

"What are ya'll talking about?" - C

"I told him that we're going out on a walk together." - T

Tighnari said as he turned to me.

"Alright, since he's here I won't bother no more, you two go off now. Bye bye!" - Mr. M

He turned his back on us and waved as he headed back for the couch.

"Bye dad!" - C

"Bye Mr. Matra!" - T

And with that we left the house. We started making our way to the liveliest part of the city, the 7th district. Tighnari seemed pretty quiet on the way. I tried to strike up a conversation with him but for some reason, the memories of yesterday, him asking me to go to the prom with him popped into my head, making me unable to speak a word.

I slowly and carefully sneaked my hand behind his, putting my palm against his. As soon as the dark haired's hands got touched by mine, his ears twitched and he raised his head a little, trying to stay as calm as possible. I gently slid my fingers between his, intertwining our two hands.

He refused to look at me and instead he turned the back of his head on me, whispering in a way that I can hear his saying.

"Cyno... What are you doing..?" - T

"Holding your hand?" - C

"Why though..?" - T

He asked as he faced me again.

"You seemed like you needed someone to hold onto." - C

I said as I smiled lightly at him. His cheeks began tinting as he stared at me with a shocked face. He suddenly snapped his sight away from me and stared nervously on the road infront of us.

"It's pathetic.. Isn't it..?" - T

"Not at all." - C

He looked back at me kinda dazed when i said those words, looking straight into my eyes.

"What is pathetic is the fact that I denied to go to prom with you, Nari." - C

After a bit of silence she started smiling at me with a quite smug expression.

"You giving me nicknames now?" - T

"You don't like it?" - C

"I don't. but..." - T

He spoke and faced forward, his hair covering his entire face.

"When It's you who says it... It sounds sweet." - T

After that sentence I was the one getting embarrassed. The area of us became more awkward and we just kept continue to walk in silence.

We walked around in the 7th district for a while before Tighnari's ears began ringing cause of the noise. From there we moved onto the calmest part of the city, the 4th district on the outer part of the city. We sat down at the bottom of a tree, looking up at the cloudy sky. The awkwardness was too much by this point. I had to break it.

"What is bothering you?" - C

Tighnari turned to me with a questioning face slowly as i asked that question.

"Hm?" - T

"I mean... You act weird since a while now.." - C

"In what way?" - T

After a bit of silence, thinking about my reply, I responded to his question.

"You aren't arrogant at all anymore when being with me." - C

"Now that you mention it... Yeah. My temper didn't go up since a while.." - T

He looked away from me and we just kept walking in silence after. "I wish that I could read what is inside your head", I repeated to myself in my head while staring at him.

Once we got into the city, we began checking bookstores and all sorts of stores out. Tighnari took interest in two books so we bought those for him. But later on, as the city got even livelier and louder, I began to feel how he started holding onto my hand tighter. I took a look at him and he was holding his ear down with his free hand, seeming to struggle judging by his face expression.

I guess he was sensitive to loud noises so i chose to go to the outer coast of the city with him. But on our way Tighnari got distracted by a pair of green and purple bracelets in a small shop. We took a step in and he started to observe the bracelets from up close. From his behind I walked up next to him and placed my hand on his shoulder lightly, smiling at him unintentionally. To that he turned to me and with a curious face he waited for me to say something.

"You want those?" - C

I asked, his reaction being turning back around and stare at the two bracelets.

"Purple is your favorite color. Am I right?" - T

I awnsered his question with a nod. After a bit of silence he anwsered my previous question.

"I'd like theese... But only if you took one of them. Wait let me check..." - T

With that he picked up the green bracelet along with my hand and placed it on it with gentle, caring touch. My eyes couldn't leave his hands as he did so.

"So? Would you wear it?" - T

I was quite suprised how the bracelet was actually quite comfortable at first and then nodded to the dark haired's question.

"It's quite comfortable so I don't see why not.. Don't you wanna wear your favorite color though?" - C

He slowly slid the purple bracelet up on his hand, looking down as he began.

"I'd like to keep the purple one if possible... I want something to remind me of you... And..." - T

He suddenly took a hold of my hand and placed it close to his heart while looking in my eyes, continuing his saying.

"I want something to remind you of me too, when we're apart..." - T

He said and carefully took the bracelet off of my wrist, aswell as he did with his. With that he gave them to me and we walked up to the cashier, paying for the bracelets and then leaving, hand in hand.
