Chapter 14 - casualty of love part 1/3

I feel young, broken so so scared. I don't wanna be here anymore. But I have to stay in this big white room . In going crazy, loosing my mind. Close the door don't want the pain to come in. Clench my fist and try to stay strong, I cry and feel sick, my hearts beating out of control. Close my eyes to see in the dark, everybody's looking at me, staring at me, what do I do now? Smile. Then you fade away, I can't see you anymore and you're gone, as if you'd never came into my life. I can't breathe.

Rocky's POV:

Emily is such a klutz, she punched me in the face while trying to make a smoothie... Don't ask. "I'm sure it's broken!!!" "OMG rocky I'm so so sorry!!!" Owchowchowch!!!! Riker is driving us to hospital so I can get it checked out.

Okay so good news my nose isn't broken! Bad news... Okay I don't even know how this happened but we ran into Ratliff and he has stitches, him and Kelly were in a car crash and Kelly has slipped into a coma!! Everyone's freaking out, Ratliff is just crying and telling us it was his fault but of course he's gonna say that. I'm just in shock, I mean this was the happiest day of their lives so far and she almost died. Kelly's parents are coming down to see her, the doctors said it could be years even. Their minimum estimate was 6 months. She could be really lucky though! We hope!!

*8 months later*

Ross' POV:

"WHAT???? ARE YOU SURE??? OMG!!!" Any words.... Nope... Ok.

Kelly's POV:

"She's opening her eyes, Kelly?" I look up at a man, well he's probably a little older than me. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is kinda cute. "Who.." He looks relieved, maybe he's a doctor, I am in a hospital after all. Well I think I am at least. "Kel, it's me Ratliff!" Who's name is Ratliff? "Who?" He looks scared. "Your fiancée..." "What???? I'm not getting married I'm only 15!!!! I don't even know you!" His face goes ghostly white, then grey and then a greenish shade. I watch as he runs out of the room, violently throws up and then passes out... What happened? "Miss Voosen, your parents are here but we'd like to see if you can recall anything that happened before the accident before we let you see them. So we're going to run a few tests is that okay?" I nod, but what accident happened? Why am I here and who was that strange guy?

Ratliff's POV:

She doesn't remember me... My eyes start to focus, thank god Riker threw that water over me. I'm burning up, I need more. "Dude? Is she okay?" I can't speak, the words are just consuming me... I shake my head. "Is she ALIVE????" I nod quickly because they all look extremely worried...

"Kelly has suffered from some memory loss, she thinks she is still 15, so everything from then onwards she can't remember. We do not know if she will ever gain her memory back again, hopefully she will but at the moment she's with her parents, trying to come to terms with everything!" We all thank the nurse and she leaves. Everyone stares at me with their heads tilted and sympathetic faces. The tears stroll down my cheeks. What if I never get her back? No. I can't afford to think like that anymore! I will get her back...
