Chapter 3 - the call

Ross' P.O.V:

Something's up with Rocky, I mean seriously he's flipped!? The Rocky I know is confident and laid back and cheeky! Who is this guy pacing backwards and forwards holding his mobile and looking extremely worried!? Has he done something bad? No, when Rocky gets into trouble he usually just laughs about it! Hmm... "Dude, you okay? You just seem kinda worried?!?" He just looks at me and continues. "Rocky, bro seriously what's up?" " I gave this girl my number and I don't think she'll call me..." Omg please not her, not Zoé! "Come on why wouldn't she call you Rocky?" He pauses "I only properly talked to her today but you know when you just like someone? I couldn't resist I had to give her my number! But we hardly know each other I don't think she's gonna call!" It's her i know it! God damn it, Rocky got in before I even had a chance! " I'm sure she'll call dude, they always do, I wouldn't worry about it!" I'm such a damn good brother I deserve a medal!! The phone rings: unknown number! Rocky answers, slowly so he doesn't come across desperate! "Hey!"... " I'm good, you?"... "Awesome, hey I was wondering? Do you mabeyy wanna go out tomorrow?"..."great! Pick you up at 6?"..."okay bye!" Rocky throws the phone down and does a little victory dance! Then he gets me in a half hug/half headlock and messes up my hair "you were right man, thanks!" "Told you she'd call! So where are you taking her?" Rocky stopped "wait, I have to decide where to take her!?" "Yes Rocky, you do!" I sigh! "I know where I'm gonna take her..." Rocky smirks! "Dude that's just wrong!!" He's got what he calls a 'sexy imagination'! But when it comes to her, he better not joke around!! "Who is it anyways?" I cross my fingers "Kiara Conners" "I knew it! Wait..? Who? Is that the girl with the bright pink but in her bangs?" "Yeah, she's amazing!" Relief floods through me, now I can get closer to Zoé!! Happy dance!!

Kiara's P.O.V:

"Hey Kiki did I tell you my cousin Emily is moving here? She's from England too and she wants to join the Rage!!" I don't really know what Zoé's talking about, I'm just nodding and smiling! "Yeah that's cool!" "You okay? You seem kinda distracted?" I am distracted, tonight I'm going on a date with the guy I've had a crush on since I can remember!! Only to know that I've got just over a week left to see him!! Should I tell Zoé? No. I have to keep this on the QT! "Yeah, just nervous about my date that's all!" Well that wasn't exactly lying! "Awrhh, too cute!!" Zoé giggles, I blush "shut up and come help me pick something to wear!"

We decide on casual wear, denim shorts, converse (lime green for Rocky) and a T-shirt with a green guitar on it!! Perfect! Rocky arrives dressed almost identical to me! Except he's wearing jeans and the boy version of the top I'm wearing!! "Don't worry Zo she'll be back by 3!!" He winks! "A.m?" "I was thinking P.m but you know a.m works too!" I wonder where we're going??

Rocky's P.O.V:

I take Kiki's hand and guide her towards 'get shaved ice' my favourite place, afterwards we take a walk along the beach, hand in hand and then lay outside looking at the stars! I feel her shiver next to me, so I start to unzip my jacket! " what are you doing?" " you're cold, so I'm lending you my jacket!! "But then you'll be cold!!" " I don't care, as long as your happy!" "I'm happy just laying right here with you!" I stop unzipping my jacket and lie back down! She has goose bumps "you're still cold!" "Then you better hug me to keep me warm!" She giggles, wow she's perfect!! I hold her close, she smells of wonderstruck by Taylor swift! "This moment is perfect!" She sighs! " Yeah, You know what would make it more perfect?" I say! Then I lean in and kiss her! Fireworks butterflies, all that stuff was going on! She kisses back! My mind drifts off... Rocky control your imagination!! I pull away! "There, now it's perfect!!" She smiles beautifully! "Yep, perfect!" And we fall asleep!

"Morning!" I wake up, where am I?? Oh yeah, the beach! "Hey gorgeous!" Kiki smiles," I better get going!! "Wait... I forgot to ask you something last night! I know it's a bit soon but, I really like you! So, Kiki will you be my girlfriend?" She looks at me straight in the eyes, she looks like she's tearing up!! She closes her eyes - to think! "yes..." She whispers and kisses my cheek! I grin from ear to ear! " see you later then! Yeah?" "Yeh.." She replies unsure! She leaves, wow that went better than I expected!! I think I might even... L.. No I can't say it!! Can I? Do I L-word her?? Maybe? Yes! I do..

Zoé's P.O.V:

I haven't seen Kiki since she went out last night with Rocky, it's almost 7pm!! I wander over to her house, hmm that's strange it looks empty! No car, no van! Nothing! I spy a note on the front door! 'Zoé!' It reads... I open it :

'Im so sorry, my dad got a job in Atlanta and we had to move, my parents gave me a choice to finish the semester at school or go right away, and well I knew that it would be a whole lot harder to say goodbye to everyone later, so I didn't, and I'm gone! I'm crying writing this letter and I have to tell you, your the best friend I've ever had and will ever have, I luv u gurll!! And I'll miss you!! Also will you please tell Rocky that I'm so sorry but I can't be his girlfriend anymore... But I love him! All my love, Kiki!xxxxx'
