Ryan's POV:
After Zoey stormed off, Danny and I began to talk. He was a pretty good guy, I must admit. I felt guilty of something. Like I never even gave him a chance for Zoey's sake. I told Danny that I would be back and I tried to find Zoey.
R: Zoey can we talk?
Z: There's nothing to talk about.
R: Then why did they invent words?
Z: You're not helping your case buddy.
R: I'm sorry okay! I just wanted to say I'm sorry. Can we start over?
Z: How do you expect us to do that?
R: Let me take you on a real date, not a pizza place.
Z: Pick me up tomorrow at 7.Well, that couldn't have ended better.
Danny's POV:
Ryan was a cool guy, I'm glad Zoey got over me. I need to apologize to her. First I lie to her, then I turn her down, then I almost get in a fight with her boyfriend. I've been a jerk and she needs to know that I'm sorry.
Ryan went somewhere and said that he would be back. I looked out the window and saw him on the bench outside staring down at his phone.
Zoey's POV:
After Ryan said sorry, I was expecting a call from Danny also. I felt a vibrate coming from my phone and answered it. "Danny?" I said. "Zoey, I'm so sorry. I should've gave him a chance for you. I never want to see you hurt and knowing that I was the cause of your pain makes me feel even worse." "Thank you Danny." I blushed through the phone. "Have fun on your date tomorrow night." he hung up the phone.
It's official, I was hit with an apology tsunami this afternoon.
I woke up the next day ready for anything.
"Morning mom." "Why did you come home so late last night?" My mother said sternly. "I had to take care of business." "Don't sass me." She slammed the fridge and turned to me. "I'm not. I have a boyfriend and a life now mom. You don't control me anymore. Geez, I can't wait to move out." That was just enough to push my mom off the edge. "You're not going anywhere for a long time missy!" She yelled. "Go to your room and stay up there until I say you can come out!" I obeyed my mothers order. Looks like no more date tonight.
Z: Hey, sorry my mom yelled at me and I'm grounded. Date is off, sors.
R: We will find a way to sneak you out and sors?
Z: I didn't feel like typing sorry okay. And if I sneak out, I'll be rode kill.
R: You'll be fine, she'll never know.
Z: Are you sure?
R: Positive. Trust me.
Z: You're so cute.
R: Don't have to tell me twice. ;)Well he said to trust him, what's the worst that could happen?
It was seven o' clock sharp. I locked my bedroom door and snuck out the window. I climbed down some decoration vines and dropped to the ground. I then saw Ryan walking towards my house. I ran to him and have him a big hug.
"I've missed you so much." I squeezed him. "Me too." he kissed my head. "So where are we going?" "You'll see." he opened his car door for me. "The last time you said that we ended up at a pizza parlor..."
We arrived at this big field. It was summer so the days were longer so it was just in time for sunset.
Ryan brought his truck and pulled down the back of it. He patted the spot next to him and I sat down. "Are we going to watch the sunset?" "How'd you know?" He turned his curious self to me. "Well a romantic gesture can only come from one like yourself." I flirted.
After I said this, I never expected the most romantic words to come out of his mouth.
"Well, you're my girl. It's my job to make you happy."
