We fought bravely against Scaleswind and Okhasis guards, defending the wall as best as we could. Keeping the guards back and making sure people on our side were alright.

"Y/N! Behind you!" I spun around, and quickly struck the guard behind me.

"Phew, thanks Dante." I spun back to him, feeling lightheaded from all the stress.

"It's no worries.." He walked towards me and kissed the top of my forehead. "Now let's get back to the fight, yea?"

"Yep!" We both ran to where Aphmau and Garroth were fighting guards, helping them hold them back. Guards were flooding the gate and magick users on the other side were breaking down the wall.

I felt a sharp pain to my forehead when someone on the other side had struck me with the hilt of their sword. I twisted my sword around and stabbed the person behind me, then ran off to aid Logan with the guards piling on top of him, with Dante close behind.

"This is Dante, a new guard for Phoenix Drop." Aphmau, Laurence, Garroth, and a blue haired male had just returned along with a small ghost child.

"Awesome!" I walked up to him and shook his hand, greeting him. "I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you!"

"Same to you, madam." I laughed at how awkward he sounded.

"Sorry, I don't mean to laugh, you just sound wayy awkward! No need to be on edge around us, even though Laurence's good looks might intimidate you." I spoke loud enough for Aphmau to hear, pissing her off.

"Oh please! Don't boost his ego." I laughed at her reaction while Laurence just casually wiped imaginary dust off his face. Dante started laughing, seeing how close we all were.

"Welcome to Phoenix drop, Dante. You'll love it here."

I was sitting at the top of the wall that we had just finished. Waiting for a certain blue haired boy to arrive. As if he could read my thoughts, he climbed up the ladder and looked around, noticing me and walking towards me.

"Hello, Lady Y/N!" He spoke with a loud yet soothing voice, just as he always did.

"Hello Dante. Thank you for coming out to the wall." I said, turning to face him.

"Of course, so what did you need?" He asked, also leaning to face me.

"I just wanted to know how you would feel about going on a picnic with me tomorrow? I know a good spot down by the beach."

His face became red at my question, and he started stuttering. "A-ah, err... Is it just going to be u-us, like a-alone?"

"We're alone right now, aren't we?"

"O-oh! Right.. Hehe..." He chuckled at his own question. "But wait, like a date? Right?" He asked after a moment of silence between us.

"If you wish for it to be."

"Well, er, then if it is alright with you, I'd like to call it a date."

"Of course, that is more than okay with me." I smiled at his goofy look, wondering why I didn't ask him before.

///end of flashback///

We ran to the Plaza behind Aphmau, and stood as the lord of Scaleswind stood above us all, surrounded by his guards. Nicole appeared behind him, and just as he began to notice, she bitch slapped him. It took a lot in me to not laugh when she did. Dante grabbed my hand and pulled me to the side while Aphmau spoke with Nicole and her father.
