~It's a parade inside my city yeah~

Flau'jae's POV:

I rode into campus on my scooter sliding through people as I made my way towards the LSU gymnasium. It's 8 o'clock in the morning, me and angel have an interview set up with The Pivot Podcast. This interview was long overdue. I've been looking forward to meeting with the guys .

"Excuse me coming through!" I said weaving through students allowing me to turn into the entrance of the gym.

As soon as I rode in i parked my scooter and walked towards the podcasters set up and sat in one of the chairs. Instantly greeted my man Fred who is the host along side his fellow co-host Channing and Ryan.

"They still let you scoot around campus?" Fred said as I took my seat.

"Yup yup." I said.

"Liability, gotta protect the product." Fred said greeting me with a handshake. Receiving nothing but love and congratulations on the big win from the guys as we took our seats and got comfortable.

Angel walked in looking beautiful as ever.

"There she is." Fred said.

"Superstar!"

"Strolling in." The guys said collectively greeting her with open arms. The energy in the room is through the roof.

"Hey, how are you. I'm Angel nice to meet you." She said softly. Making sure to shake everybody's hand before walking up to me.

"Hey girl." She said rubbing my shoulder as she walked behind me to get to her chair next to me. Before she could take her seat she got up to put her bag away on the other side of the room.

"Oh Angel also too , I was supposed to do a favor for my son who plays for Arizona state. His homeboy is in love with you. He told me to tell you to check your dm." Fred said.

"She not gone check em." I chuckled knowing for a fact Angel wouldn't even bat an eye towards a dm from some random college dude.

"I don't know." she mumbled slightly amused.

"That's what they all say huh." I said teasingly.

"This my body guard right here." She said nudging my shoulder. "You know it." I said smiling as she took her seat.

The interview started off smoothly with me and Angel talking about our accomplishments and answering questions that were being thrown our way. It felt good to be able to sit down and express myself in a comfortable environment. Towards the end of the interview they asked me how does it feel to have so much support from my team when it comes to my music.

"Oh i couldn't ask for a better support system than them. They my sisters for life." I smiled thinking about how supportive my teammates and coaching staff have been towards me and my music.

"There was a special moment after the game when you guys won where the confetti was coming down. They was playing your song through out the American Arena what was that feeling like?" Ryan asked me.

"Oh it's all so crazy to me. Nobody ever thought I would be a rapper and a basketball player but I'm holding the national championship trophy and my song is blaring through the speakers of the arena. I'm going to have a ring on my finger, that's stuff you see on tv or in a movie. That's not regular and it's like my mom and I had a plan and it worked out." I said feeling happy about how far I came.
