Flau'jae's POV

"Today is your big day I'm so proud of you baby and I know if your father was here he would be so proud of his baby girl." My mom said through the phone while I looked through my closet for an outfit for tonight.

I finally dropped my "BIG 4" EP. it's been a long overdue project I've been working on this for awhile and I successfully completed each track. I'm having a soundtrack release party at club Nyx one of the hottest clubs in the city.

I'm filled with so many emotions words can't explain how I really feel. I can't wait to turn up to my music with all my peoples and supporters. I'm tryna bring the whole city out ya feel me. I already got the rap game in a chokehold ain't no way I'm gone let the streets breathe once I drop this fire ass EP.

"Thank you momma and yes I know pops looking down on me with a big smile throwing up 4s at the heaven gates." I said happily thinking about my father. I wish he was here to see what I've accomplished. I owe it to him and the legacy that he left behind , it's only right that I grind my way to the top.

"Oh and make sure that your girlfriend shows up for your big night." My mom said making me pause.

Wait huh.

How did she know about me and Angel.

"You didn't think I knew about y'all? Before you say anything I want to let you know that I love you no matter who you chose as your life partner. You will always be my child and I am mad that you didn't tell me sooner you know I love me some Angel so you better make sure she at that party. Now bye I'll talk to you later I have to call the club promoter about VIP passes and etc. I love you." She said hanging up before I could respond.

"I- well damn ma love you too." I said flabbergasted. How she just gone hang up like that. The disrespect is to real.

I'm still in shock that she knew about us but then again I'm not surprised she found out. She better than the fbi if she wanted to know something trust she'll find out. I looked around my closet and found the perfect outfit for tonight.

I called my girlfriend on facetime to get her opinion on my outfit knowing her she might want to color coordinate with me. She picked up on the second ring. She answered the phone looking sexy with her hair done up and her pink lips on display.

"Hey baby I was just thinking about you." She said smiling at me. "You ready for tonight."

"Yes mamas I can't wait to turn up it's gone be a movie." I said walking out the closet with my outfit.

"Bae what you think about this outfit , I'm gone be turning heads huh." I smirked flipping the camera to show her the clothes. I picked out a blue and white dior jean two-piece set.

"Who head you trying to turn." She said mugging me. "Don't get your lil groupies beat the fuck up." I laughed watching her roll her eyes.

"Chill you know I'm all yours mamas". I said blowing her crazy ass a kiss.

"Mmm whatever." She said acting like she was mad but I can see she was trying not to smile.

"Oh and bae guess what."

"My momma found out about us.."

"..WHAT." She screamed into the phone.

"Yup she called me out and said she been knew about us which wasn't surprising because you know how that lady is.. swear she wanna be a detective." I said walking around my room looking for some shoes to go with my outfit.

"She was real supportive and I'm kind of glad she knows about us now I don't have to hide my relationship whenever she's around." I said picking up my blue and white dior tennis shoes.
