Chapter 6

Angel's POV

I just left a photo shoot for the 2023 SI swimsuit issue. I'm so excited to see the finished photos. My agent has been working overtime with my NIL deals and sponsorships coming in left and right. The prices have literally went up and I can't thank nobody but god for this. My agent also let me know that I've been selected to participate in the USA women's basketball AmeriCup trials to compete for Team USA.

This will be my 5th time trying out for the team , I'm confident that I have a good chance at passing the trials. I called Flau'jae to give her the good news. She answered after the second ring. I can tell from looking at background that she was at the studio, she was sitting in front of some studio equipment with headphones on.

"Wassup baby ?" She said smiling giving me her full attention. I couldn't wait to tell her. "Guess what I just found out ?" I said cheesing trying to contain myself from blurting it out.

"What is it ?" She said.

"I got selected for the USA women's basketball team, well first I have to get through the AmeriCup trials but you know that's small shit to a giant." I jokingly bragged popping the collar of my shirt.

"Congratulations baby I guess I'll be seeing you at the trials too." She said brushing the non existent dirt off her clean purple pumas jacket. "WAIT YOU GOT INVITED TOO ? BABY IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU." I screamed feeling happy that me and my girlfriend got picked for the team. We really be having motion and this is a huge accomplishment for the both of us.

"Yes baby I just got the call not long ago I was going to call you when I was done recording but you beat me too it." She laughed taking the headphones off of her head. We leave in two days the trials is in Canada so we have to get prepared for that. I can't wait to experience this with my baby.

"We really two young bosses getting to the bag." I said admiring my beautiful girlfriend. "Of course , we earned this baby. Hard work pays off everytime ain't nothing stopping us from getting what we want believe that." She said praising us and our success. When I tell you that's my girl my girl my girl I mean that shit.

I was talking to her about random stuff while she just stared at me with this look in her eyes. "Bae stop staring at me like that" I said blushing. She laughed. "You look good mamas , I can't help but stare at what's mines." Okay she got a point. That just made me blushed harder and squeezed my legs together. "I'm yours ?" I joked trying to get a reaction from her. She was packing her stuff to leave the studio.

"Come on now. You know what it is. Stop playing with me , you all mines now tell me you love me ?" She said mugging the phone with her fine ass.

"I love you ." I said blowing a kiss at the phone.

"That's what I thought and I love you too." She chuckled blowing me a kiss back. Ugh she so aggressive I love it. Yup that's all me right there. She was walking to get in her car while we talked on the phone.

"I'm stopping by wingstop you want something to eat mamas?" She said starting her car. "Yes get me a 10 piece boneless wing half barbecue and half lemon pepper with a coke please." I told her my order. No funny shit but if your girlfriend don't feed you when she feeding herself then she not doing her job right.

She placed the order when she got there and was waiting to get her food in the drive thru. I was still on facetime with her while I was putting my stuff away at my house from the photoshoot.

"Okay baby that will be $24.19."

"Umm.. okay no problem and keep the change." I heard Flau'jae say while I was putting my shoes away.

"Here's your food would you like any sauce ?"

"Yes some ranch please."

"Here you go and I just wanted to say you look so damn fine can I get your name." I know this bitch did not just try to run game on my girlfriend. Hoe give her the food and shut that beak. Bitches be birds in real life just chirping for nothing.
