Screw this mission.

==================
So...yeah. I ran after Coach.

And you know what? I'm not even surprised I took the wrong turn. -_-

Somehow back on the right track, I spot Zack crumpled in a heap, unconscious.

Hissing a few more not-so-nice words, I gently shake the collapsed Zack, scanning him for any serious injuries, which usually result in unfortunate encounters with Coach.

Seeing none, I zoom back to towards Devinaux as the police sirens blare a little distance ahead.

A few minutes before
3rd POV

A (hair color)-headed female sat in the dark. The room only illuminated by the pulsing glow of the memory-reading device on the woozy Inspector, and the subtle halo of the phone in her hand.

Her fingers hovered over the buttons, playing the dialing noises in her head.

Scared for the consequences of betraying her teachers, the girl hesitates on calling the police on them.

With bestie-like memories of Carmen back in school,
+ a humorous recollecting of Zack snorting up his spaghetti flashing through her mind, she puts in the digits of the emergency number.

She speaks with them briefly, and then chases after her teachers in hot pursuit.

======================

Back to where it started, I slowly walk into the room along with a few more investigators, expecting to see an injured redhead but I instead was met with a confusing sight.

Both Brunt and Carmen were gone and the lock to the hatch on the floor sliced perfectly.

The door also seemed like it was broken with force.

Pulling the white earbud out of my pocket (which I was thankful for keeping) , I contacted Player.

"Player! Got anything on Red?" I say anxiously.

"Still trying. The connection disconnected when Coach walked in."

I was somewhat relieved to hear his voice, weirdly enough.

About to answer, I spot Carmen at the top of some sort of bell-tower and rush my way up there.

Having a little chat with Player, I find her at the top.

"Are you ok? You bleeding anywhere?"
I scan her for any red substance and sigh when I fortunately see nothing.

She assures me that she's fine and look back towards the red and blue lights blinking in the distance.

As I follow her gaze, viewing the one place I made a decision that I didn't deplore.

She lets out a stress-deflating sigh, as she speaks to the guy once again.
"Tell the two to meet us at rendezvous.We might need to plot a few capers."

She looks back at me with the last sentence with a reassuring smile.

====================

Did I regret silently choosing this side?

I'm not sure, actually.

===================

Did you like it?

I'm sorry, if you didn't :).

See ya!
