Em walked off the plane and began walking towards the parking garage. It was dark outside. The weather outside was peaceful, warm with the slightest breeze.
She smiled to herself. Tonight couldn’t possibly be ruined. She had just spent a month in Ohio on a business trip and was eager to be home with her boyfriend, Jeremy. She originally was supposed to be there another week, but meetings with the Nelkkon executives went smooth, so, they wrapped it up early. Of course, she was going to use this opportunity to surprise Jeremy.
‘He has no clue,’ She thought. She couldn’t contain her smile. 4L, that’s where her car was.
The drive home was a quick one. Of course, it was, who the hell would be out and about at 1 A.M? And thankfully, Macklemart is open 24/7. Em was able to buy some of Jeremy’s favorite snacks, as well as her own.
When Em entered her apartment, she could barely contain her excitement. As she approached the bedroom door, however, a negative feeling came over her. She heard a suspicious noise that she sincerely hopped was just her mind playing tricks on her.
She opened the door, to her dismay, the sound wasn’t a hallucination. Jeremy was fucking another girl. Right there. On their bed.
