The group stood in their proper positions as Rudy spoke. "All right, guys, your homework was to watch the video of the 'soaring crow' kata." He informed, pacing a bit. "Let's see what you got." He nodded once before getting out of the way. "And..begin." Most of the kids started just flailing the arms around as Jack and Eliza tried to remember it but ultimately just gave up. "None of you watched the video!" Rudy gathered. "Rudy, we're really busy at school." Jack said. "Yeah." April added which led to her friends looking at her weirdly. She never did anything in school! "We're really busy with school!" Rudy put on a fake frown as he mocked Jack's voice. Eliza giggled but stopped once she felt Jack's eyes on her. "You wanna feel pressure? Wait until you're my age." He said confidently as the mailman walked in, handing him a letter.

"Trust me, no one gives you an award for being an adult." He looked at the letter. "I'm getting an award for being an adult!" He smiled, jumping up and down as everyone looked confused. "What do you mean?" Eddie asked. "Seaford high is inducting me into it's hall of fame." Rudy answered, eyes still on the letter as the kids circled around him. "Why?" Everyone questioned at once. "Starting to lose it..Someone please read this!" He acted faint as he sat down on the bench. Jack took the letter, sitting across from him. "We are pleased to formally acknowledge your contribution to the youth of Seaford through your leadership and commitment to physical fitness!" Jack read excitedly. "In your face, mother!" Rudy said, pointing up at the ceiling. "And they're giving you a black tie pork chop dinner!" He added. "Black tie..?" Rudy's eyes widened in amazement. "Pork chops.." He sounded like he was on the brink of tears. April rolled her eyes at this. "It's all happening so fast!"

The group sat in Falafel Phil's just talking. Jerry's hand reached over to April's plate as she joked with Eddie but she easily swatted him away without even looking at him. "Hey, guys." Phil approached the group. "I have favor to ask for you." "What's up?" Eliza smiled up at him. "My niece, Mika, she moved here from Hachmakistan. She will be ninth grader in your learning house." "Learning house?" April mouthed to Jerry to which he shrugged. "And I was wondering if you would make the friendships with her." Everyone easily agreed to this as April sat silent. She probably wouldn't become friends with Mika as she struggled to even tolerate people.

"Thanks. There is something that I need to tell you though. I love her very much, but.. She is, how do you say.." He trailed off before he found the words. "Ugly like a pig." He grimaced as the teens shared looks. "I will show you. Let me summon the beast." He said before letting a strange noise that none of the kids expected. April covered her ears whilst rolling her eyes. Mika answered back with the same sound and the kids just looked at eachother and wondered what they were getting themselves into.

Suddenly, a hairy man came from the door with dirty dishes in hand. All of the boys shrieked. "Huh. I've seen worse." April shrugged. "That is not her! That is my new busboy, Rafael." He said, annoyed. "That is Mika." He pointed to the beautiful brunette walking out in a bright pink outfit. She slowly undid her ponytail before fixing her head. Everyone stared in shock at her. Eliza rolled her eyes at Jack going slack-jawed at her beauty. She put her hand under his chin, fixing his mouth. "You'll catch flies." She mumbled, turning away from Mika and looking to April who just stared down at her food. "She is not like the beauties that we have in my country." Phil shook his head.
