Chapter 10 - Back Together

So... I'll be a way for a bit. Maybe three months, I know it's a lot but I'll try and post two or more chapters in these months when the opportunity is given.

JACE'S POV

"Jace do you still love me?"

I choked on my saliva. Do I still love her? Of course I do. Do I? I know we've been apart for quite some time but that hasn't quenched my love for her. But she probably won't forgive me for putting her through a tough time. The words I said, everything I did to make her jealous. What if I still do love her but she doesn't love me back.

I raised her head from my chest and looking into her eyes, I admitted, "Yes Teri, I love you. And I'm hoping for you to give me a chance to make everything right."

"But what about Taiya?"

About Taiya? What about Taiya? "You and I both know that I've loved you for so long. Taiya is still just a friend to me. I've made her place in my life known to her and she has promised not to do any stupid thing again."

She nodded but was still looking into my eyes. She wanted something, she needed something and I knew what it was.

Slowly, we both leaned in and soon, our lips were connected and moving in sync. How I miss this. Her lips just felt so good against mine. I was loving every moment and I wished it would not end but she stopped and gasped for air.

"Please let's go." she said, looking straight ahead. She's mad? I know I deserve it. You could have just pushed Taiya away but...

We arrived at the park where the four of them were already waiting.

"I thought you two were never going to come and rather cuddle the night away." Prilla complained.

"Don't be silly Prilla, I'd rather be in the woods than stuck with him."

Ouch. That hurt. "I'll say that's because I was too rough for you."

She shot her eyes at me. "You disgusting being." she grabbed a mat and chased me around with it, making several attempts to hit me with it but failing miserably.

I had ran quite a distance and I saw her still coming after me. I stopped and turned and she crushed into me and that was how I snaked my arm around her, trapping her in my embrace.

"No place of escape princess."

She dropped the mat with a smirk and in the next second, we were exchanging saliva again. The second for today, we're not even still a couple.

Then like flash, she ran out of my hold. "I'm glad I still remember your weakness." she said, running and laughing back to where we were with me hot on her heels. She still remembers that I'm weak and soft when kissing.

She ran faster now with her hands free from the mat and mine full of the mat.

"I see you guys have been having a lot fun." Jayden wiggled his eyes and I shot him a glare. Can't my friends be a lot less dirty minded.

"Guys I'm hungry." Layla spoke for the first time since we arrived.

"Sure babe, let's start walking. It will take us less than 20 minutes to walk to the grounds. "

"Can't we just send the car?" Connor whined and Layla nodded in approval.

"It's in the woods and it's a no car area."
