I woke up feeling excited for school, so unlike me. Yesterday was so fun, I could hardly wait to hang out with A-lan again. I get ready and head downstairs and grab an apple and head to the door. "Why are you leaving for school so early these days?" I turn around and I'm met with Addison crossing her arms like a mom who wondered why you were out late.
"New year, new me I guess?" I question myself with that. Yeah, I seriously need to see if I'm okay. This is not me. "Okay, but if it's about someone you better tell me girl." She points a finger in my direction. I nod, "Oh yeah, definitely. I will tell you when I see someone. But right now," I pause and look down the street pretending to look for someone. "I don't see anyone."
I walk to school and I feel a tug on my shoulder. "Hey y/n." I turn, ready to punch the person. It's Wyatt. "Oh hey, you scared me." We keep on walking to school and he puts his arm around my shoulders. "Oh sorry, wasn't my intention." He chuckles and we head inside. We're on our way to class, when I turn my head and see Zed. "I'll see you later, I have to do something real quick." I say goodbye to him and walk to Zed.
"Y/n!!! Hey girl, thank you SO MUCH for yesterday. I have amazing news." He hugs me and looks so excited. "Well go on," I laugh at him. "Coach said that I'm doing well and that he wants to set up a meeting for the recruiter from Mountain College to watch me play. I have another chance to get that scholarship! And it's all thanks to you y/n/n"(nickname) He grins at me.
"Well I'm glad I could help Zed. I need to get to class though. I know you'll rock that meeting!" I turn around suddenly, "Just don't mention what I did to ANYONE" I walk to class and I go through with it for the rest of the day.
As I'm on my way home after school, I'm stopped by a voice. "Leaving without even a goodbye?" I turn around and see it's Wyatt. "Well I didn't see you after class. How's that my fault?" I cross my arms and smile at him. "It's not, just wanted to see you. Let me walk you home."
"Sure, let's go. I'm sure mom and dad would love for you to stay for dinner. We can watch a movie till then." I grab his hand and we head to my house. On our way home, I couldn't help but feel something was watching us. It couldn't be. No one was in our eye sight.
A-lan's POV
I'm walking around with A-spen, discussing our plan when all of a sudden, I see y/n. I wanted to walk up to her, but I noticed a familiar dog following her. What the heck is he doing with her? I try to forget the whole situation and continue discussing our mission with A-spen.
