Monmon

Our one-week honeymoon already ended without kissing on each other's lips. Khun Sam was determined so was I so I was pretty deprived of the sweetness of her lips. So we ended up recuperating our thirst by focusing on what was allowed to eat and consume and that was everything else but our lips.

It was quite challenging, given that we were really obsessed about making out everywhere as long as we were in a private space.

I tried coaxing her to kiss my lips a couple of times and she had done the same. No one fell for each other's trick though. Khun Sam was really competitive but I must win. So I had a plan prepared for her and I hoped I would be successful this time.

Today, we were gonna resume our work at the office. I was actually nervous because I knew that my colleagues would treat me differently now that they were already aware of my relationship with their boss.

I didn't want my relationship with my colleagues to be indifferent just because I have a romantic relationship with their boss so I asked Khun Sam to let me stay in my current position as the admin of Diversity Pop even though she insisted that she'd already assigned me to a higher managerial position.

And I was glad that she respected my decision.

"Mon, why do you look so troubled right now?" I heard my wife asked beside me, pulling me out of my bubble of thoughts.

I just realized that she had already park Duanpen in front of our office building.

"Because you won't kiss my lips anymore," I said, giving her an excessive pout.

She blinked her eyes and stared at my lips for a brief moment before she shook her head. "No pain, no gain, Monmon. I'll have you working in my office everyday and I'll cuddle with you in our private bedroom whenever I want to."

After that statement, I watched her open the car door on her side and hopped out, leaving me with a mischievous smirk on my face. Khun Sam, you don't have an idea what's on my sleeve right now.

I was about to open the car door but my wife opened it for me as always. What I loved about my wife was her consistent chivalrous gestures towards me.

"Thank you," I said, earning a small smile from her.

We entered the building closely and once we arrived at the office, I heard a commotion but it abruptly ceased when they realized we were already here.

As usual, Khun Sam pretended not to care, giving me a short but sweet glance before she directly walked into her office.

I awkwardly stood on my feet and looked at my colleagues with a sincere smile. "Good morning," I greeted as usual.

Only Aunty Mhee, P'Noi, P'Yha and P'Chin greeted back while the rest remained silent. I couldn't blame them though. Only those four were invited in the wedding ceremony because P'Yha only told them about our secret relationship. We kept it for three months because I wasn't ready yet.

But we just couldn't keep it a secret anymore to everybody now that we just had our honeymoon. They must be shocked and confused, or probably thinking that I snatched their boss from Khun Kirk. Speaking of him, he was currently in vacation because he covered up our absences last week. I was really grateful to him.

Setting those concerns aside, I sat on my usual table and started to work. I could feel everybody's eyes on me but I just ignored them and focused on my tasks for today.

The heavy atmosphere only shattered when an unfamiliar girl was rushing into the office with a troubled look. She was wheezing so much like she'd run a marathon.
