Monmon

When I walked into my wife's office, I instantly spotted her knitted brows and the thick folders over her desk. But when she looked up to me, her face brighten up and a smile appeared on her lips.

"Tee Rak, come cuddle with me," she said, opening her arms wide like an eager child.

How adorable! This was Khun Sam I only knew. This was my privilege; seeing her cuteness, her kind heart and genuine smile.

Who was I to decline her invitation?

I walked my way towards her and once I was already within her reach, she pulled me around my waist and made me sit on her lap.

"Hmmm, finally," she murmured, embracing me closer. "I missed my Monmon."

I laughed softly. "But I'm just outside working."

Khun Sam pouted sadly. "I know. Even so, I missed you. Don't you miss me?"

Wow, my wife was getting sweeter and sweeter nowadays.

I put my arms around her shoulder and rested my forehead on hers, closing my eyes and inhaling her flowery scent. "Of course, I missed you too."

My wife tightened her hold on me and began showering my neck with tiny little kisses. My breathe hitched at her lips on my skin but just remembered that I was planning to deprive her.

I cupped her face away, preventing her to continue further. "Wait, let's order our lunch first. What do you want? Let me pay for our food this time," I said, taking out my phone from my blazer.

"You don't wanna go out for lunch?"

I nodded. "Yeah, seeing that we have so much work to do, let's not just get out of the office. What do you want to eat?"

Khun Sam pushed my phone down. "Mon, you don't need to pay for anything from now on. I'll provide everything for us."

My brows furrowed, expressing my disappointment. "But I want to buy my wife her lunch. Pretty please?"

Khun sighed, seeing my cheeks puffed up in plea. "Alright, I'll just let you choose for us."

I happily smiled and began to tap on my phone. Khun Sam rarely eat foods from fast food restaurants so I ordered a bucket of fried chicken with regular and spicy flavor, a large bowl of salad and two cups of milktea for us. She gotta experience new things sometimes.

When I was done, Khun Sam attacked my neck again with her kisses but I stopped her again.

"Wait, I have to talk about something with you," I said, amused at how her face contorted in frustration.

"Can't it wait, Tee Rak? I'm trying to eat you first before the food delivery arrives."

I shook my head in disbelief. "No, we have to talk about why you had to hire new employees to assist me and how you clearly didn't even tell me about it."

"Oh, I see. Well, less work for you means more cuddle with me, right? And I just clearly forgot telling you about it, Mon. But I told you before that I'm planning to assign you to a higher position so I'm thinking hiring a few staffs for you and then you start training under my supervision for your future role."

"But I told you that---"

"I know, Tee Rak, " she interrupted me before I could even finish my complain. "I know that you want to stay as an admin of Diversity Pop and I respect your decision... for now. You're my wife and you're already their boss. If you remain in that position, our employees won't recognize your authority. Do you understand me, my love?"
