Chapter 24: One night stands happen upon the first meeting
I checked my reflection again. I was quite satisfied with my outfit. I was wearing a sleeveless floral dress that went to my mid thigh with a denim jacket, the dress had a leather belt on and I had on knee length boots and of course accessories. I had minimal makeup on and my hair was put to a messy bun. I grabbed my bag and went out of my room.
"Mom!! I'm leaving!!" I called to my mother as I passed her room. She poked her head out and walked out. "Honey, you look gorgeous!" Mom exclaimed, hugging me.
"You're my mom, you're kinda supposed to say that." I laughed.
"True that, but you do look pretty!! I'm so glad you're going out, especially with Jason!" She squealed.
"Mom!" I moaned. That was right, I was finally going out, where there were other people, paparazzi, blah blah. I agreed on one condition, Jason would come with me. So, here we were, about to have our first date after being in a relationship for a week. To be honest, I was excited and nervous at the same time. It was also the first time we saw each other since New Year's day. When he came back home the other day, he was immediately grounded for sneaking away. Technically, he was still grounded. However, the king and queen were once again away, leaving him in charge of the castle. So, he was being ungrounded (is that a word?) , at least until his parents come back, and the first thing he did was ask me out on a date. It was also our chance to talk, we were going to talk on New Year's Day, but then he had to leave as his parents were hysterical.
"Okay, okay, you'd better- oh." Mom paused as her phone rang. "Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry but I gotta take this. Have fun!" She said, kissing my cheek. I smiled and went on my way to the front door. For once, I was glad it took so long to get to the door as I was so nervous. I arrived the front door to see Ashton and Jason chatting.
"Ash? I thought you were going out?" I asked.
"Yeah, I just had taken make sure you're alright."
Jeez.
"Ash, I'm going out with Jason, your best friend." I argued.
"Better safe than sorry." He shrugged.
"I'm still here." Jason interrupted. I turned to look at him and couldn't help but fangirl inwardly. He looked... amazing.
"And you too, Piglet." Jason smirked.
Did I just say that aloud?!
"And yes, you did say it aloud. In case you were wondering." Jason added, as if he'd read my mind.
"Okay, enough. Seeing my sister and best friend flirt is just... Urgh! Okay, I'll make this quick." Ashton said. Jason and I both rolled our eyes and turned to him.
"You." Ashton pointed at me. "Don't do something... uh... that will produce babies." I scowled.
"Ashhh, it's our first date!" I cried in embarrassment.
"Yeah and one night stands happen upon the first meeting." He replied without missing a beat.
"Okay, can we stop talking about this!" I covered my beet red face.
"And you." Ashton turned to Jason and grabbed his collar. "Hurt my sister, and you won't have your balls anymore. I'll make sure of it myself." He released his grip and Jason faked cough. "Oh and bring her back before curfew. Capisce?"
"Capisce. Can we go now? Can you go now?" Jason asked in fake annoyance.
"Oh shoot!" Ashton cried, looking at his phone. "I'm gonna be late! Gotta run! BYE!! Have fun!! Don't miss me too much!" With that, my psychopath brother bolted out the door, ran towards his car and jumped in.
