Two days later :

Linn was fully engrossed in her research about dreams in the library, surrounded by a tower of books and a notepad filled with scribbled notes. The more she read, the more she felt like she was getting nowhere. She let out a heavy sigh and rubbed her tired eyes, looking up to see Lady Lesso approaching her table.

"Lesso, did you find anything?" Linn asked, hoping for a breakthrough.

"Ugh, no," Lesso replied with a frustrated tone. "I've been through every book in this library, and I can't find anything that matches your dreams."

Linn felt a pang of disappointment in her chest, but she didn't want to give up just yet. "Hey, hey, you know we can always stop if you want to," she said, trying to be considerate. "I can continue this alone."

Lesso shook her head, looking determined. "No, we started this together, and we'll finish it together. We just need to think outside the box. Plus , if it wasn't me you can't enter the good school library" The dean chuckled at her sentence " "Well you have a point" "Let's take a break and get something to eat. I think we've missed both breakfast and lunch."

As they walked to the dining hall, Linn couldn't help but notice how Lady Lesso's eyes sparkled in the sunlight that filtered through the trees. She pushed the thought away, reminding herself that they were just friends and it was just a teacher and student relationship . Fortunately, there were still some teachers having their lunch, and they managed to grab a table

They settled at a table in a quiet corner of the room, away from the other teachers. Linn grabbed a sandwich, while Lady Lesso opted for a bowl of soup.

As they ate, Linn thought about how much she had grown to enjoy Lady Lesso's company. She had always been there for her, offering support and guidance, and Linn was grateful for that. She couldn't imagine going through the nightmares and the research alone.

"Hey, Linn," Lady Lesso said, breaking the comfortable silence between them. "I was thinking, did you speak to your father about this" "No why would i " i don't know maybe he'll know something since he ruled hell for a long time and he's the best one at mastering magic"

"I don't know, Lesso. My father and I don't exactly have the best relationship," Linn said, feeling conflicted.

Lady Lesso reached across the table and placed a comforting hand on Linn's arm. "I understand, but maybe it's worth a shot. It could be the key to unlocking the mystery of your dreams."

Linn chewed on her sandwich, contemplating the idea. It was a risk, but it could be worth it. "Okay, I'll talk to him," she finally said.

Later, when Linn returned to her dorm room, she felt that something was off. Suddenly, she heard her father's voice, and she let out a scream. "Oh my god, can't you just warn me before showing up here out of nowhere?" Linn exclaimed.

"Well, don't I deserve at least a hug? It's been 5 months since we saw each other," her father said with an evil laugh.

Linn rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I know. And now why are you here?"

"I heard that my dear child needed help. Now, spit it out. What's wrong?" Lucifer asked.

"I've been having these dreams, and they're just getting worse every night," Linn said.

"I see," her father replied.

"Do you know someone who was once in the school and had strong powers?""There are many powerful beings in this school, but have you ever heard of the story headmaster's brother?" Lucifer asked.

"No," Linn answered.

"Well, he was once one of the most powerful beings in the whole world. He had access to blood magic," Lucifer explained.

"But isn't blood magic forbidden?" Linn asked, surprised.

"Yes, it is, but he managed to have access to it," Lucifer confirmed.

"What do you mean by was?" Linn asked.

"Two readers a few years ago, Sophie and Agatha, killed him. But I don't think that he can be killed by something like Excalibur," her father said ominously.

"So you mean that he's now after me? But why?" Linn asked, feeling a sense of dread.

"Before he was killed, he wanted to destroy both schools and have all the magic in the world to himself," Lucifer said.

"Oh god, that's one messed up story," Linn muttered.

"If you see him, tell Lady Lesso immediately," Lucifer warned. "I don't know what else you should do, but be careful."

"Okay, father," Linn said, With that Lucifer vanished into smoke leaving his daughter laying in her bed lost in thought
