Happiness, this word can not do justice to what Takumi felt after his kiss with Misaki. But it wasn't just a kiss that sent Takumi on cloud nine, it was the very thought that Misaki had finally opened up about her feelings towards him and accepted him. This alone made him so happy, after all this time running after her, showing her his raw emotions. Takumi always made sure to express his love for Misaki whenever he got the chance because the moments he spent with her were everything, with her, Takumi felt that he could be himself, she was unlike anyone he had come across. Misaki was so much more than what she showed people, luckily for Takumi, he got to see what she was capable of, got the sight of her that people never got to see.

Misaki was only for Takumi. When she looked at him, she saw him, there was no expectation from him, she gave him normalcy in his hectic life. Takumi saw her. Her anger, her smile, how hard she worked, she was struggling to make ends meet but that didn't stop her from becoming top of the class, becoming the student council president. Misaki earned respect, she was making her own life, the everyday drama didn't get to her. To Takumi, she was worth it. He truly loved her.

After the lovely kiss, Takumi and Misaki decided to go on a date after her shift ended, he was absolutely ecstatic about it. The walk back to Misaki's place was wonderful, it mostly consisted of him teasing the heck out of her, Misaki was getting annoyed but that did not stop Takumi's jesting rather it only urged him on to do more. He was not making it easy for her at all but how could he, when her blushing face was the most beautiful thing to him. In all his years as an outcast, her existence made everything better for him.

Even with all the teasing, not once did Misaki leave Takumi's hand, she held onto it, the firmness of his hand gave her the comfort that even she so desperately needed. She too needed someone to hold her, to love her with all her imperfections, and finally, she found it in him. Having this giddy feeling in the pit of her stomach, her face blushing, now she understood why people chose/needed companionship. And she was grateful for this feeling. To be loved by him most of all.

Standing outside of her house, Takumi did not want to let her go, even though they would be meeting tomorrow again. He didn't want to let her go. He could stand the cold for her, he didn't mind it one bit. However, it wasn't just him, she didn't want to leave as well, but life (school and work) she needed to get some studying done and some sleep afterward. Besides they would be meeting tomorrow anyway.

"Well, let"s call it a night Usui" she attempted to let go of his hand before anyone saw them together.

Only to be pulled back by Takumi, bringing both of their faces close for a kiss.

"Goodnight Ayuzawa" Even with her blushing face after their little kiss, she did not pull away until he finally let go of her hand.

Watching her go inside her house. He began to walk back to his condo. His dry little home. The night was cold, the tip of his nose was red but the red tint in his cheeks was from their kiss. He was so content with his life right at this moment. He felt as though he accomplished everything even though he was only 17 and had a way to go in life before anything. Humans never stop moving.

The street lights, the calm. He liked this, he was so grateful. After arriving home. He went straight for a quick hot shower. It didn't take much longer, only 15 minutes, coming out with a towel wrapped around his torso and rubbing his wet hair steam allowing after him, Takumi went straight for his closet to pick out what he would wear tomorrow to their date. He wanted to look his best for her, he was already excited just thinking about their date. He picked out a loose maroon cable sweater and paired it with black jeans and black vans.

On the other hand, Misaki was super excited as well, both her mother and her sister could tell that something good had happened to her since he was glowing. Her mother was so happy to see her eldest daughter like this. Finally living like a teenager should, all from just her face. Misaki took some food up to her room so that she could study but her mind could not focus on anything at all. Usui, was all she thought about, unconsciously she ended up touching her lips. Blushing madly, she jumped on her bed, landing on her stomach.

Thinking about their date tomorrow, she swiftly got up and began to pick out her clothes too. Looking at her unflattering collection, she mentally face-palmed, she should have at the very least bought some dresses when they were on sale, all she had were working clothes. But she wasn't completely without hope yet, she went to her sister's room, surely Suzuna would have something cute. Going into Suzuna's room, her sister was sitting on her bed reading a manga, stopped and looked at her, waiting for Misaki to speak, Misaki didn't know how to ask for a dress. She was sweating because she didn't want to make it known yet she and Takumi had finally started dating.

"Sis, do you need something? You've been standing there for quite some time now" Misaki panicked even more. What the hell is wrong with me!!! It's just a dress.

"S..S..Suzuna. Do you have a dress that I can borrow for tomorrow?" there she finally said closing her eyes tightly.

Suzuna just looked at Misaki dumbfounded and then it clicked to her. A boyfriend. Finally. Quietly getting up from her bed, walking towards her closet, she'll read her manga later, right now, she's going to make sure Misaki gets her full attention. It's time to get to work. Suzuna wondered who finally got her sister's heart but then she guessed it and simply smiled and looked at her sister.

"I'll make you look beautiful" Misaki smiled a little taken aback by what her little sister just said, happy that Suzuna didn't ask her any questions. She'll tell everyone when she's ready. And Suzuna understood this.
