🌕 Wonder pt. 2 || Mitsukou

"We're no strangers to love."

What the hell? Why is this the first song Mitsuba sang? At that point, Kou knew it was Mitsuba. He didn't know who else would attempt to rickroll their soulmate. 

"You know the rules, and so do I."

Kou groaned as he had to listen to Mitsuba rickroll him as he was trying to do his math homework. Shouldn't Mitsuba also be worrying about his homework instead of trying to rickroll him? It seemed like a more productive rather than making your soulmate groan from the other's stupidity.

"A full commitment's what I'm thinking of. You wouldn't get this from any other guy."

Kou already knew he wouldn't get the same treatment from anyone else. Mitsuba was the only Mitsuba out there and nothing would change that. Kou could have sworn he had a headache just from trying to do math homework and listening to Mitsuba's horrid singing. It was already bad at the math homework, Mitsuba just decided to add to it. Was Mitsuba singing horribly on purpose because it was such a meme of a song? 

"I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling. Gotta make you understand."

Kou tried to listen to his own music just so he could block out Mitsuba's rickroll. Mitsuba already got the point across. Kou didn't want to hear anymore of it as he worked on his math homework.

"Kou, are you okay?" Teru asked. He heard Kou groan, so he wanted to check if he was okay. Kou panicked to answer. Might as well just say it's some friend being stupid.

"My friend is being an idiot and annoying as always," Kou said. 

"NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!"

Kou wanted to shout at Mitsuba. Why did Mitsuba just start screaming the song now? It wasn't even singing anymore. It was just straight up screaming into Kou's mind that was slowly making him go insane. He was trying his best not to yell shut up at Mitsuba. 

"NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN!"

Teru gave Kou a questioned look. He didn't believe Kou at all. It looked like Kou was going to go insane in just a few moments. Teru didn't question it much though, since as Kou said, it was just one of his friends being annoying. 

'Mitsuba, please shut the hell up. I'm trying to do my math homework,' Kou thought as he sighed. Why was Mitsuba like this?

"NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AND DESERT YOU!"

Why was Mitsuba's singing so bad with Never Gonna Give You Up? It had to be horrible on purpose. Mitsuba was purposely giving Kou a headache. That had to be it. It was the only explanation Kou had.

"NEVER GONNA MAKE YOU CRY!"

Well, Mitsuba already failed at that. Multiple times. Kou had cried because of Mitsuba so many times. Kou was just used to the screaming that it started to not bother him.

"NEVER GONNA SAY GOODBYE!"

Never mind, Kou's headache came back. Why was Mitsuba trying to become a broken record with his voice? It was so weird. The way the pitch (Was that even the word?) changed in the middle of the sentence. Kou hated it so much. Why did Mitsuba even do it? Was it all just to kill Kou's head in the end?

"NEVER GONNA TELL A LIE AND HURT YOU!"

Kou sighed from relief. Finally, Mitsuba was done for now. Kou's head was still throbbing in pain from how loud Mitsuba had been. He could now work on his homework in peace, while also having a headache from the homework itself.
