I know things can get hard sometimes, and you feel like nothing is worth it anymore. But I assure you that you matter to this world. God, or anyone else that you might believe in, created you for a reason. You're on earth for a reason.
No matter what happens, there will always be a light somewhere. It's alright if you want to be upset sometimes, and that's completely normal. But just know that if you try to look for the light, you will eventually reach it, and the cage will unlock. You will be free.
Depression is a very hard thing to deal with, and if you are/know anyone going through it, then it's nothing to be ignored.
The best solution first is to reach out to someone that you trust, someone that you know will be able to help. If there is no one that you feel you can trust in your life, then try writing to a journal instead. It's almost the same as talking to someone in real life, and will have the same benefits.
If you are writing a journal, every page that you write, try ripping it out and throwing it in the bin. That way, your getting rid of those horrible feelings, and when you want to go back to writing, you won't be reminded of those past worries.
If your trying to reach out to someone, like a friend or family member. Then make sure to take it easy at first, as you don't want to suddenly overwhelm them and start venting all your feelings to them. It's best to set a boarder of things that you feel most comfortable sharing, and try not to go too deep all at once.
You can also ask them if they would like to hear more, just so they know what's coming and it's not so sudden.
Another good solution is a therapist or councillor. They can listen to anything that you want to say, and they will be there with the best advice possible. But if you get anxious talking to new people about such a hard topic, then it's okay!
If your ever having SH or suicide thoughts, then please don't ignore them like it's normal. You shouldn't be thinking that way, because no one deserves to be that hard on themselves, or putting all that blame on themselves. Think about all the people that you love, or anyone that would get hurt if you ever left them. You wouldn't want to put them through that pain of loosing someone, so just try to stay strong. And try to fight back, and gain the confidence to stop thinking about any of that, and focus more on self love and respect.
