The sudden knocking at the door woke me up from my somewhat peaceful slumber. My eyes opened to the somewhat now familiar room. As I sat up I internally thanked the lord for his generosity. Thankfully that he was for once on my side as there wasn't a single nightmare last night.

The knocking came to a stop after I let out a loud yawn. Myeong's voice was heard through the doors. "Ma'am, may I come in?" After another loud yawn, I spoke up. "Of course,Myeong." I responded like every other day.

She came in right away. Quietly shutting the doors behind her. I was taken by surprise that her face held no smile. She didn't have the bright smile she always displayed on her face every morning. Which only made my heart sink. Something must be wrong.

"What's with the long face?" I say jokingly hoping to lighten up her mood. And maybe attempting to put my own mind at ease. I was glad to see her giving me a small smile. But it wasn't really a happy one. I was expecting the usual good morning but I didn't reserve that either.

She just started on the typical daily morning routine.

I sat on the bed, legs extended, silently watching what she did every morning. Opening the curtains, then the balcony doors. By now she would have asked what I wanted to wear but she didn't. She walked over to the closet and came out with a very nice simple, yet expensive looking, floral dress. The one you usually see girls on a picnic in a field wear.

I gave her a weird look, confused on the reasoning behind the choice. I wasn't going anywhere besides maybe the balcony. So,why a dress? I stared at the dress that was lying across from me on the bed. I know Myeong could see and sense my confusion so she spoke up.

"Mr.Suh would like you to join him for breakfast." she said simply as if it wasn't a big deal. I just sat there stunned by what just had come out of her mouth. She doesn't pay me any mind and removes the blanket to remove the bandages on my legs.

I moved my legs towards myself, hugging them. My actions caused her to stop and step back. She stood there waiting for my next move. We both stayed there for a while before I said something. "I'm not going." I spoke with a small tremble in my voice. Myeong looked defeated to say the least. "Alex," she warned."Myeong."I shot back.

We stare at each other for a few moments before she lets out a sigh. "Honey, I'm afraid this isn't a choice." she reasoned. I looked at her in disbelief as I slowly let go of my legs and extended them again. "I can't Myeong." I let out, in almost a whimper. She doesn't respond and just goes back to removing my bandages.

"I can't do it Myeong." I said louder than before. I was terrified. Terrified of what may happen this time. Myeong looks up at me with pity in her eyes. She reaches out cups my face. I feel myself trembling a bit. "I'm so sorry honey but you have to." She said softly as I saw the pithiness turn into an apologetic expression.
