"MOMMA MOMMA MOMMA!!" The loud screams and giggles of the young boy echo through the once quiet library. I hear the patter of his running feet coming closer.

A sigh of slight annoyance leaves my lips. "Yes?" I asked putting the book I was indulging in down. And yes, I have relied upon reading a book for entertainment, because unlike  the child running full speed towards me: I'm not allowed any technology or social interactions whatsoever.

The pained groan leaves my lips as the boy jumps into my lap. Adjusting his quickly so the fresh cuts on my legs don't reopen. "Mommy let's go out please~?" I nodded my head. I was also in need of fresh air. "Sure, let's go to the garden!" I exclaimed. Standing up with the boy in my arms, which are half the size they were three months ago.

"Noooo~" the boy whined as I walked out the library and down the hall. "I want to go outside." Jay turned my idea down, nesting his head on my shoulder. "Silly. The garden is outside." I countered, nestled my nose in his soft dark hair.

"I know that mommy but I mean shopping!" he says with a bit of a sassy voice. A giggle leaves my lips as I find his sassy attitude adorable. "Oh I see." Replying with a grin on my face.

"please~" Youngjae began, lifting his head back up. "Momma, can we go outside?" He asked once again as he put his hands together and gave me the most precious puppy eyes ever, along with a small pout.

I felt bad saying no.

I had stopped walking by then. "I'm sorry baby but I don't think so." I say in a soft tone. Gently stroking his right cheek. He stayed silent. Then. "But whyyy?" Jay whines again as I continue making my way to the garden with him in my arms.

"I don't think your father will like that," I said honestly. Trying to reason with him. "Please mommy, I want to go to the park again and play with my friends," he said with tears in his big round eyes.

I stopped again staring into his teary eyes. How can I say no? "Ok. I'll see what I can do hun." Is all that came out. Let's be transparent here, we all know it's not coming true. "Ok mommy." Jay replied before we quietly continued walking.

I've been cooped up in the room or the library ever since the night of Youngjae's nightmare. And you may be thinking about what great parenting that is. As well as wondering where the child was. Well with me of course. The boy hasn't left my side ever since his father allowed him to.

Obviously, we quickly got bored of that. After a week of literally doing everything we could do in this house. We ran out of ideas. So we spent most of the time just napping. Either in my room or Jay's room or sometimes in the hammocks in the garden.

Or we spend our time in the library where Jay gets his school lessons. We tried swimming but it's too cold outside. Plus I can't swim and neither can Youngjae.
