His boss was looking at him like he was a three course meal.
"This job is going to be harder than you think, Jeon."
Jungkook was uncomfortable. But he knew he couldn't let go of this chance. "I'll do my best." Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "-Sir," he added.
There was a change in his expression which Jungkook couldn't pinpoint. Anyway he seemed more playful.
"Please sit here. This is your office." It was huge.
"Sir- are you su-" Jungkook stopped himself. It wasn't his place to question the director. Besides, he was just a secretary."
"Please send these memos out by evening." Taehyung stated, the same playful smile marring his features.
Jungkook scrunched his nose and smiled, bowing, "Thank you, sir. I'll take care of it."
Then his smile dropped at his boss' gaze. What was once a playful gaze was now scary, almost predatory. He seemed to be looking at him with no restraint, like Jungkook belonged to him.
Jungkook shivered slightly under his gaze. Surely, he was just imagining things. He excused himself quickly from under that simmering gaze and began working.
He worked alone, typed up memos and emailed them periodically until a message popped up from his boss asking him to go to the other's office.
The office was larger, expensive and filled with soft sunlight.
"You messed up this memo." His boss pointed to a few random, mostly fixable errors, "I'm disappointed. I thought you'd be good at this." His expression was strained.
"S-sorry, sir." Jungkooks eyes teared up. He took these things a little bit too seriously. "I will re-type them right away sir!"
At this Taehyung smiled. Jungkook became aware of how handsome and polished he was, looking and smelling of money, but his expressions...
