Jungkook came out of the car, surprised to see that the "house" Taehyung was talking about was a mansion consisting of many acres on the ground, with fountains and gardens and security waiting just outside the gates for them with audio equipment in between.

"Isn't this a bit too much," Jungkook thought to himself, but as usual the elder was spontaneous and surprising. "I'm sorry, but do you have any plans," Jungkook whispered, to which the elder just shook his head.

"I just wanted to introduce you to my father," Taehyung answered, as if it was a completely normal thing to do. Introduce him to his family when he was already engaged? Jungkook didn't know what to make of him then, but the elder sure didn't lack dimension, he seemed to have a little too much of it.

And if your employer decides to do stupid things, you don't just say it's stupid, do you?

In this world of man eats man, Jungkook would never question power.

The maid at the door asked for their coats meekly, waiting only Taehyung's father's secretary led them to the dining area, where a series of about nineteen young men and women resided, alongside an old man who Jungkook could only assume to be Taehyung's father.

"Are these his employees?" Jungkook whispered, visibly impressed at their dedication.

"No," Taehyung answered back, "those are my siblings."

"Ah," Jungkook answered, when the older man still hadn't motioned them to sit, "did it happen that all your aunts and uncles died in a fire and he adopted all of them? Sounds very kind-"

"No," Taehyung responded, like the younger was missing a fact, "those are all from his sperm."

That was when the elderly man motioned them to sit down.

"So," Taehyung's father began, "it seems you've brought company. Your secretary, I presume?"

"No," the addressed spoke without skipping a beat, tugging Jungkook closer until their arms were together, "he's my lover. We're engaged to be married."

Hey, don't pull me into this!

"I see," the older man answered calmly, "he seems... quite young."

"You shouldn't be unfamiliar with that, right, Father? Especially with your multiple marriages."

Jungkook felt the situation was entirely unfair for him, not only because it wasn't planned, but with- all this.

For one, how could one man even have this many successful sperm?

"If you're talking about me, then certainly not," Taehyung's father answered, "for one, I married all of your mothers when they were barely older than twenty. But you still don't understand, that times have changed. And dating such a young employee especially with your position is... questionable. But I appreciate you wanting to follow my footsteps, simply wish you'd do it some other way." "I'm not trying to follow you," Taehyung frowned, "I'm nothing like you."

"Right, well, if you'd like to limit your freedom in regards to that, who am I to say no," his father responded, "but know that you would be hurting more than me if you destroyed your reputation. You'd lose all this business stands for, and your inheritance. If you are so insolent that you are willing to risk your position, who am I to stop you. Perhaps you did take after your mother after all, she was always so overly emotional-" "I will be leaving then," the heir interrupted, not wanting for his father to go on and on about his mother as if he hadn't destroyed her himself, "I hope you enjoy your dinner, with your... family."
