Emi woke up to little turtle feet walking over her face. She jolted upright and just managed to catch Takeshi before he hit the ground.
"What are you doing out of your tank buddy?" she asked the small turtle. She placed him back in his tank and dropped some lettuce leaves in and started eating.
As Emi studied the tank she noticed some of the bigger rocks had been knocked to the side of the tank and now formed some kind of staircase.
"I must've knocked your tank while I was asleep, Takeshi", she observed, as she moved the rocks back into place.
When that task was done she peeked outside and saw the moon was up and there were no clouds in the sky. She must've slept the whole day!
Emi quickly brushed her hair and crawled out of her shelter.
Stretching her wings and tail out, she wondered what she would do tonight.
She knew she had enough food and and didn't feel like scouting anyway.
"Let's just go for a fly" she told herself and launched into the air. The wind blew her hair back and she felt weightless.
Her tail whipped behind her and she saw a good place to land.
She landed on the tip of a pole, sprung off, flipped in the air and landed neatly on the empty roof top, with her wings splayed slightly behind her.
"And she sticks the landing" she proclaimed to the empty space.
"Do you always talk to empty roof tops" came a voice.
"Dudes. I thought we were just watching her." came a second voice.
"Shut up Mikey" came the first voice plus a third voice.
"What do you want" Emi asked, pretending to sound scared, when she actually wanted to keep them talking. Her tail snaked towards the where the sounds were coming from.
"We just wanted to meet you dudette" came the second voice. There!
"You know, ninja's really should know how to be..." Emi started then struck "...silent".
She finished as she hauled out the source of the second voice by the foot. Dangling it up in the air, upside down, with her tail.
It was one of the turtles! The one with the orange mask and nunchaku. He was kid of cute and had freckles.
"Oh" she said, disappointed, "it's you". She dropped him on his head, uninterested.
"Ow" he complained " why'd you do that, dudette" he asked.
Then a thought occurred to her.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, suspiciously. "How did you find me?".
She turned around to see the red and purple masked turtles helping the orange one up.
"Uh" the orange one groaned, embarrassed. Suddenly, she realised.
"Oh, you're new. I wondered if the Shredder was trying out new tricks" she said pulling out one of her ninjato.
"Now I have my answer" she said, getting ready to pounce.
"Woah dudette, we're not..." the orange one started, before Emi launched herself at him.
"Less talking, more me kicking your butt, shell, whatever". She spat out as she hit his nunchuku away.
She pulled out her other ninjato as she felt a woosh come behind her, swinging towards her head. She whirled around and sliced the purple masked turtle's bo staff in half.
"That was my favourite staff" he whimpered slightly.
Then he started backing away as Emi walked toward him, brandishing her ninjato. When he was at the edge of the building Emi whipped her tail around and squeezed it around his body.
She held him up and bonked him on the head with the handle of her ninjato.
It was annoying how he was squirming and it was much better when he was limp.
"Nobody move" she called, whirling around to face the advancing red and orange masked turtles.
The red one had his sai's out. His eyes were still amazingly emerald but Emi knew she had to focus on staying alive.
"You two had better stop moving or else" she said drawing her ninjato to the purple ones neck. The turtles stopped advancing.
"Weapons on the ground" she growled and there was a clanging as sai and nunchuku hit the ground. One of the sai skidded to her feet and she sheathed one of her ninjato to pick it up.
"Nice" she said, admiring it "great craftmanship. I might keep this as a souvenir". She decided sheathing it into her belt.
"Ahh" she cried as a sudden pain struck her in the leg. She turned around to face the turtle in the blue mask. "
Drop him" he ordered.
"Gladly" she replied, flinging the unconscious turtle into the other 2. Then quickly flinging 2 shuriken that pinned the tails of their masks to a pole, so they wouldn't interfere.
Emi drew her other ninjato grinning.
"So, you win I do what you want and you get the sai back. But, I win you leave me alone, I keep the sai and the orange masked turtle." Emi taunted.
The blue masked turtle didn't say anything.
"Not much of a talker, huh" she said as they crossed blades and the sound of steel on steel filled the empty space.
It was evenly matched on both sides.
"You're pretty good" she admitted, then suddenly threw a shuriken at his undefended leg "but I'm better". He fell to the ground with a grunt of pain.
"I'm debating whether or not to carve a message in your shell for the Shredder . Well, either way I get to keep the sai and..." that was all she managed to say before she felt a sharp pain on her head and everything went black.

Raph stood over the unconscious body of the girl and went to help Leo up.
"You good bro" he asked.
"Yeah I'm fine" he answered standing up and waving Raph's extended hand away. "You'd better get Donnie" he said looking over at the unconscious turtle.
Mikey was standing over him.
"Mikey you grab the girl and Raph can carry Donnie" Leo ordered retrieving his katana's. Raph and Mikey retrieved their weapons as well.
"You can't be serious Leo", Raph protested. "We can't bring her back to the lair".
"Yes we can", Leo answered. "She's hurt and besides, she hurt Donnie real bad. She could, and probably is, dangerous".
"But, Leo..." Raph started to protest.
"Just bring Donnie" Leo interrupted, slowly making his way down the ladder and towards the manhole.
"Fine", Raph muttered going over to heave Donnie onto his shoulder's.
"Come on, Mikey" he called to the younger turtle, who had gingerly picked up the girl and was making his way after Leo.
Raph sighed. He could tell this girl was gonna be trouble. Yet, he couldn't help but feel intrigued. Who was this girl? What was her name? And, more importantly, where did she learn ninjitsu to get so good at it.
