"Do we have to strap her down", Mikey asked.
"For the last time Mikey, yes we do", Leo answered, as he positioned the girls wrists and ankles to the medical table with metal rings Donnie had developed for just such an occasion.
"Fine" Mikey admitted, walking over to help.
They had just finished with the rings when Raph walked in, helping a limping Donnie.
"Donnie" Mikey cried, rushing up to hug him. "How you doing, bro" he asked.
"I'm fine Mikey", Donnie reassured. "But I need to start fixing her wounds", he said gesturing to the girl on the table. "She looks pretty banged up and not just from you Leo. There are wounds here from a few months ago that are infected", Donnie explained. "Everybody out, I need room to work", he ordered and everyone filed out of the lab.
"Hey, what's news around here" came a voice from the turnstiles.
"You know what the news is Casey" came a second voice. "You were texted the details, same as me", it scolded.
"Hey April. Hey Casey" Raph called, flopping down onto the couch.
"Hey Raph" Casey replied, flopping down to join him. "What happened to you Leo", he asked, referring to the cut on his leg and some of his bruises.
"Let me tell you Casey", Raph suggested. "Leo's a bit sensitive about getting beat up by a girl".
"Woah dude, that's funny", Casey laughed.
Leo looked away, embarrassed that Raph told Casey.
"Well, we found this girl on a rooftop and she sorta freaked out. Said something about the Shredder, knocked Donnie out and beat Leo in a duel. Who knows what she would've done if I hadn't knocked her out" Raph told him.
"Donnie was unconscious" April's voice came from behind them, "is he alright". She asked, concerned.
"I'm fine April", Donnie said from the lab door.
"Donnie", April cried, rushing up and giving him a hug.
Donnie hugged her back a huge smile on his face. Casey stared at them and Donnie stuck his tongue out at him.
"How is she, D" Mikey asked from the pin-ball machine.
"Still unconscious", Donnie admitted. "And I don't know when she'll wake up. It could be in a few minutes, to a few days to a few months. But, when she does wake up, we have to find a way to keep her off her feet. One of her... ".
Suddenly, a scream came from the direction of the lab. "Takeshi", it called.
Donnie raced back into the lab with, everyone else following him inside.
"Leonardo", came a voice, just as Leo was rushing to the lab with everyone else.
"Yes, Master Splinter", Leo replied, turning around to see the rat coming out of the dojo.
"What was that noise", Splinter asked.
"It was just a girl mutant we had to bring back from patrol. She was hurt and we think she might be dangerous", Leo explained.
"Ah", Splinter said, stroking his beard. "I would like to meet this girl", he decided and made his way towards the lab, with Leo in tow.
