FOUR POV

I can feel myself succumbing into darkness. I've been here for hours disguised as agonizing days. I just want it to be over, all this pain, gone.

Finally, after what feels like centuries, I hear the sirens coming closer, and closer.

TRIS POV

"Guys..." Zeke croaks. Every head turns to him. Including mine.

"What?" Christina says.

"They found his motorcycle." Zeke says with an uneven voice. I feel my heart drop. I want to burst in tears but I hold it back.

There was a long silence. I could not take it anymore.

"I'm going to go look for him." I burst. I run out the door before anyone can hold me back. I hear my name being called from inside, but I keep going.

I get in my car, and I pull out of the drive way as fast as I can. Thoughts burst through my head. But ignore them. I need to find him.

After awhile of driving, I spot an ambulance, and a couple of police cars. I park my car near the site, and I run as fast as I can to the broken, ripped apart motorcycle, which lies 20 feet away.

"Mam, where do you think your going?" a police officer halts. I turn my head and say, "I'm a good friend of Four. May I help look for him. Please?"

The police officer nods, and I walk into the thick brush of the forest.

"Four! Four where are you?!" I call out. No answer. I walk farther away from the motorcycle. He must have crawled away or something. I cringe. Just the thought of him being disabled from walking is chilling. Tris, just keep your mind clear, keep looking.

"Four!" I call out again. Nothing...until I hear a deep groan. My heart skips a beat. Four.
