Zayn Princeford – Monte Carlo – Leaving Work.
I’m meeting Andy at Avenue Park to Eastwood Farm. When I got to where he was, he gave me a high five.
“You’re late”. He said.
“I know, work”. I’d left work late because of an event that will be coming on tomorrow at the restaurant. Mr. Jacque Arenas, the President of La Belle Cuisine will be coming to visit tomorrow. He is a very skilled cook and amazingly forty years of age. He barely shows his face at the restaurant. My brother, the chief chef, is still at work. He’s working with Elvis Besson, the MD of our branch for the food. They’re planning to serve him Noodle Soup for starters. For the main course he’d be served Fried Vegetable Rice with Vegetable Meat Stew and Oyster. Finally, for dessert, Vanilla creamed biscuits with Strawberry Mini Cake and Guava Smoothie. I couldn’t wait for them so I left and told Calvin that I was going home. I didn’t . I rather decided to meet Andy at Eastwood Farm to go on an adventure. I gave him a pill and I took one too. Within few seconds the pill started to work. We were high. When we are high we do things we don’t do when we’re in our normal minds.
“Are you ready?” he asked me.
I walked over and kissed him. He smiled through the kiss.
“As ready as I can be” I said to him. I turned for us to go but he held me.
“You’re forgetting one thing.” He said into my ears. I smiled. I turned and unzipped his shorts. His penis came and I rubbed it.
“Turn” he said. I turned and had my back towards him. I pulled my shorts down. He thrust his penis into me and I gave out an almost inaudible moan. He rocked me for some time and pulled out.
“Dress up” he instructed. I dressed up. I know you’re wondering what just happened. Well before we go on an adventure which we know might end up taking our lives, we have sex in order to have a feel of ourselves before we die. Now don’t take it the wrong way. We are not in love or anything. It’s just sex.
“Let’s go” he said and we advanced towards Farmer Baker’s barn. Farmer Baker is the farmer who kills for money. We’ve never seen him before, only heard of him. So we decided that this night we’d visit him. We know that what we’re doing is risky but like I said it’s adventure. Adventures are risky but fun.
When we got inside, the barn was empty save for a few bales of hay. A frightening feeling passed through me and I started second guessing this adventure.
“Andy” I said, “I don’t feel right. Let’s go”.
“We haven’t achieved what we came here for so we’re not going anywhere.” Andy said. He could be stubborn at times.
“Andy, let’s go.” I tried convincing him.
“Let’s wait. If he doesn’t come in three minutes we’ll go.” I decided to allow that. I continued checking my watch. When I felt the three minutes was up, I held his hand.
“Andy, let’s go”.
“Okay.” He said. I held his hand tightly. Just when we were about to leave, a shadow fell on us. We turned to look at each other. Fear in our eyes. We tried to run but he sprayed us in the eye with pepper spray. We screamed. Before we could even understand what was going on he put handkerchiefs to our noses and we blacked out.

Shirley Walliams – Avenue Park – Eastwood Farm.
I wake up to see us still on the road. James had switched with Mike and now James was fast asleep in the passenger seat. Dakota was also asleep. Chris was looking out the window at nothing in particular.
“Where are we?” I asked him. He turned to look at me. I was now leaning on his shoulder.
“We are almost there, I think.”
“How long have I slept?”
“Quite long”
“Shirley, can you check to see whether we are there?” Mike asked once he realized I was awake. I pulled out my phone and when I checked, it said we were there.
“We are supposed to be there.” I told him.
“I see it. Wake the rest up. We are here.”
I tapped Dakota and James. “We are here.”
Eastwood Farm was a farm that held both animals and fruits. Even at eleven at night, we could still see a few pigs and birds around.
“There.” James said pointing to a red barn that had Eastwood Farm written on it. There were no houses around. If truly Andy was here, what was he doing in such a deserted place? I pulled out my phone and switched on the torch. The place was pitch black.
“I have a bad feeling about this.” Dakota said.
I advanced towards the barn. When I saw the picture on top of it, I remembered where I had heard Eastwood Farm from.
“Guys,” I whispered to them. They were behind me. “This is Farmer Baker’s farm.”
“Farmer Baker?” Dakota asked, thinking. Then her eyes widened in fear.
“The farmer who….”
“Who kills for money.” Chris ended it for her.
“Oh my God.” Dakota said in fear.
“What is Andy doing here?” I asked. I took steps towards the door. It was ajar. The rest followed behind me. I pushed open it and what I saw almost had me screaming if Mike hadn’t placed his hand over my mouth.
Andy was hinged upside down in the air. A rope around his neck to a pole. He looked so pale and unconscious. Beside him was a guy I thought I recognized.
James and Mike moved towards Andy and pulled the rope down. When he was finally on the floor, they eased the rope from his neck. Dakota and I pulled the other guy down and did the same thing to him.
“We need to send them to the hospital.” Mike said. He placed one of Andy’s hand on his neck and the other on James. Chris helped Dakota and I with the other guy. We pulled towards the door. We were almost out when I bumped into someone. I looked up to see who it was and no one had to tell me I was looking into the gruesome eyes of Farmer Baker.
