Dakota- 154 Int. St. House 3.

I got home and went to shower. After dressing I went down to the kitchen to make hot chocolate. When I was done I took the cookies from the microwave and was about to sit when I got a call from Mike my elder brother.
"Hey, you"
"Hi. We have a problem". He sounded worried.
" What's wrong?"
"It's Andy."
"How bad is it this time?"
"He's been arrested."
"OMG. I almost dropped the hot chocolate.
" What the hell happened?"
"We'll be having a family meeting at the family's house on Saturday at noon. Be there". He hung up.
Andy! Andy is the only child who's been in police custody. He's the black sheep of the family and the last born. He dropped out of school last year and has become a drug addict. What saddens me is he's just eighteen. I once had to stop a fight between one of his buyers and him that almost had both of us killed. Now he's about to ruin the vacation I had planned for myself.

                    Corbin Avearey - Sunshine College.

Sunshine College is a huge school. It's painted bright yellow, suggested by its name. I decided to try a new me. My hair was let down. I was in a cutoff jeans paired with a blue T- Shirt with the words "My life is quite a mess but I love it" written on it and a pair of  Puma Fenzy shoes. My car was a sleek red Corolla with a splash of white. When I got to the parking lot, there were not many students around but those who were there stopped to look at me when I stepped out of the car. So cliché. I walked past them, entered and went in search of the Principal's office. When I found it I knocked on the door.
"Come in"
I entered and saw a light skinned slim woman in glasses sitting behind the desk.
"Good morning Miss."
"Morning dear, how may I help you"
"I'm Corbin Avearey, a transfer student."
"Oh yeah. Welcome." She reached into her drawer and gave me a paper containing my list of classes and rooms. Wow, Calculus, Economics and Chemistry. That's a weird combo.
"Thanks. Please can I add music to my list of courses."
"Sure. Just give me the paper and let me give you the room and period for it." I handed the paper to her and she wrote on it and gave it back to me.
I took it with a smile, thanked her again and left. My first class was Economics in room 432. I just hope I don't get lost and be late for class. It took five minutes of roaming and getting missing to find it. When I got to the door, I heard screaming which meant either there was no teacher or there was but the students were not acknowledging his or her presence. I opened the door causing them to keep quiet for a while to apparently check if it was the teacher. When they saw it wasn't they went back to chattering and using their phones. I walked towards the only seat which was empty and in the middle of the class. It was by a blue haired Gothic look girl dressed in all black. I sat down and took out my phone and placed my ear pods in my ears listening to Why Don't We's playlist. After a couple of minutes I felt a tap on my arm. I turned to see the blue haired girl sitting beside me pointing at the ear pods. She said something but I didn't hear her. So I removed them and said, "pardon".
"You mind?" She asked, pointing to the front of the class. The teacher had entered. It was then I realised that the class was quiet and everyone was looking at me.
"Will you mind introducing yourself to the class." The teacher asked.
"Hi. I'm Corbin Avearey." I said simply.
"Wow that was short. Well, welcome to Sunshine College. My name is Roland Princeford. I hope your stay here will be enjoyed."

                          **********
The day went well after that. Since I had packed lunch, I went to sit behind a table in the corner. When I sat down to eat a shadow fell over me.
"Why are you at my spot?" It was the blue haired girl.
"I didn't know the tables in the cafeteria were registered."
"Well now you know so scoot." She said using her hand to sack me as if I was a mosquito.
I got up to leave when she stopped me.
"Are you leaving? I was only joking. Sit". She said gesturing me to sit. I sat looking at her.
" Hi, I'm Shirley Awineet Walliams". She extended her hand for a handshake. I opened my mouth. When she saw I wasn't taking her hand she took mine by force. "Nice to meet you".
I finally found my voice. "Walliams. Are you....?"
"Yeah I am the fifth child and second daughter of Mr. Niall Walliams".
"Why do you sound like you don't like it."
"Because I'm not used to being the daughter of a multimillionaire. They expect so much from you. It's so annoying."
"Wow that's sad. Don't you have any friends?"
"No not really. No one wants to be friends with a social outcast. People think I'm gay because of my choice of dressing and look. Who wants to be friends with a gay person?"
"Well are you, gay, I mean?"
"No, I'm not. This is just the way I dress. My favorite colour is black. Is it wrong for my favorite colour to be black. Should you give me the title of gay because of my choice of clothes and colour?"
"Wow. You are going through a lot. Well since I'm new here I'd like for you to be friends with me besides I need someone to show me around. In time we'll see how things are going to work out."
"You are kidding, right?" She asked, surprised.
"I'm not. Hi, I'm Corbin Avearey. Nice to meet you." I extended my hand and she took it and shook it. I gave her my phone for her to save her contact. I also gave her mine. We'd almost finished our lunch and the siren went for the next lesson  which was Calculus.
"What do you have next?" I asked.
"Calculus"
"Well so do I. Please lead the way." I said and we left the cafeteria.
