Isaiah

Anywhere she walks a halo follows. She carries herself with such confidence that makes any being  lower their gaze, and anytime she speaks it sounds like a message from god. Shes an angel fallen from heaven.

Nobody has ever taken over my mind the way that goddess does. Whenever I see her I feel like I want to praise her. Worship her. I want to touch all over her milky skin, attaching myself to her like she's my last hope.

I was a little moody walking in the restaurant that day from a previous meeting at five in the morning, but when I walked into the restaurant I was instantly hit with the smell of caffeine and I could calm down a little. I looked around the area scouting my meeting partner for the day and stopped when I was met with the back of a brown skin woman.

I didn't even notice she pushed her chair into me as she quickly turned around. The air around me began to heat up and my surroundings became less clear. For a second I could feel my hand shaking when I stared deep into her brown orbs.

I regained my senses when I noticed her speaking to me. Every time after that she used every opportunity she had to tease me, making me unconsciously nervous around her. I'm already an awkward person, but next to her I'm like a teenager before puberty.

I step out of my fantasy, fixing my glasses upright on my face. I continue to write an email to the Director of leader M, letting him know I will be there later on in the day. He has been trying to get my company to sponsor him for some time now but I needed to make sure that working with him wouldn't damage my reputation.

And since Jocelyn works there maybe I'll be able to speak to her. Hopefully.

I push myself away from my desk, giving my legs some time to stretch. I sit in silence as I take a second to doze off, but I get distracted by the creak of my office door.

"You in here Izzy?" I here someone ask. I internally cringe at the nickname because I know exactly who calls me that.

"Come in." I state, already annoyed with this person's presence. The person who came to interrupt my work could only be Daniel.

Daniel is my older cousin from my moms side. He's like my older brother but also my childhood bully. But having him around isn't all that bad. He's a business man himself running a newly founded company that's been rising in the ranks.

"What did you come all the way here for?" I asked clearly not amused with his sudden appearance. He leans his body forwards and let's put an irritating chuckle.

"I came to tell you that my wedding is in 2 months." He says, happiness written all over his face.

"You could have just texted me you know." I state, picking up my phone and holding it next to me.

"But that's no fun. And besides, I was around shopping with אִמָא and Marcia." He says, sticking his hands in his sweatpants pockets. (Mother).

"Anyways what you been up to אח קטן?" He asks, trying to gage my reaction to the question. (Lil brother).

"Same things as always." I responded shortly, trying to get him to change the subject.

"You haven't been messing around with some pretty ladies?"he questions, his intentions poorly hidden.

"I know my mom put you up to this." I say.

"Not just her, I'm curious too. You're getting close to being a grandpa, you need to try and settle with someone." He states.

"You're older than me, what are you talking about." I deadpan.

"That's not the point Izzy. I want you to at least start talking to someone. Make some friends or something." He says.

"I have friends." I point out.

"You know what I mean. You need to enjoy your self some more. You always just want to work, go and do something. Dates, tinder, one night stands, there's lots of options." He smirks.

Just the thought of doing that was overwhelming. I never felt the need to do that but sometimes, I do get lonely. In my free time I read books and do more work. There's nothing going for me besides my wealth, but maybe sometimes it's ok to take the risk.

I listen as he ends a call, interrupting my thoughts. He then turns to me, a wide smile painted on his face.

"Marcia wants me to hurry up. Anyways, I got to go. I'll see you soon." He didn't even give me time to reply as he scurried out the door.

I always get weirded out when I see him like that. Only for her.

That reminds me I need to get ready to go to Leader M Agency. And to see that angel.

As soon as I get there I'm already upset. Getting inside the building, there's no one to be found at the reception desk. I head over to the elevator pressing the top button hoping it will be the Directors floor.

I get out walking straight looking for an office plate with Mr. Johnson's name displayed on it. When I go to clear my glasses some unknown figure stands in my way.

"Hello, how can I help you?" I set my glasses on the bridge of my nose and look up to see a tall blonde woman woman standing inches away from me.

"I'm looking for the Director." I state, trying to distance myself.

"Let me show you to him." She brushes past my shoulder and leads me back to the elevator. In the short ride down to the floor under she managed to but her hand on my back, moving her hand in a slow motion.

"Ma'am, please keep your hands away from me." I say, slightly irritated with her behavior. When the elevator doors open I glare at her to lead the way.

Walking past the head management office my body comes to a stop. I slightly look through the window and see that it's empty.

In the end I make it to him and finish the rest of my day.

Without even seeing her.
