Never Gonna Look Back, Girls (Girls' Generation x Jessica Jung fanfic)

Chapter 3

Taeyeon's POV

After we sang "Complete", we gathered together at the front stage and we can see Seohyun is crying. Hyoyeon and Yoona are by her side right now. Yoona grabs the tissue and hands it to Seohyun.

While those were happening, our SONEs keep on shouting "Jessica!"

After Seohyun wiped her tears, our SONEs started shouting "So Nyeo Shi Dae!" I smiled to them.

We all bow down together.

-the next day-

Today, our manager called us saying we will be having a press conference about Jessica's departure.

Right now, we're inside the van heading to the venue where the press conference will be held.

As I look at each of my members' face, they're really sad. Silence has filled this van right now. And we can't talk about what happened.. we choose to stay silent for now.

With all their questions they have asked us, there is only one sentence I've given to them.

"All I want is to protect Girls' Generation."

We've arrived at our home.

I told all of my co members to gather in the living room. We all need to talk about what's happening right now.

"With all these and those happenings about Girls' Generation, everyone is being affected. It's not just us that are being affected. Our fans also."

They simply nodded.

"And because of that... I think we should just stay being positive and.. happy." Tiffany said.

"That's right. That's what I'm trying to say. I know this is really hard for us but I hope you know that our fans are already sad about Jessica's departure. If they're going to see us all sad, don't you think they'll become more sadder? So I hope we can all stay strong, and be happy."

"Unnie, you know it's that easy. Jessica just got kicked out of this group." Sunny said. I can see she's holding back her tears.

"I know, but we just need to stay strong. We can do that, right? We have faced a lot of problems back then. But we didn't gave up. We stayed strong. And we didn't left each others' side."

Nobody responsed.

Until Sooyoung speak..

"Alright. From now on, we'll stay strong, be happy, and let us all move forward together, okay?"

"Okay~" they all said in chorus.

Third person's POV

The next day, SM ent. released Girls' Generation's latest music video, "Divine". An including song on their latest Japanese album, The Best.

In the music video, there are still nine members in it. And it got more emotional because it is a ballad song about being always together and always one, in which Jessica sang her lines with the lyrics "We are always one."

It's funny how SM gave that line to Jessica, and then kicked her out of the group.

-2 months later-

Jessica Jung has officially launched her own branch of sunglasses called "BLANC AND ECLARE" in which she is the creative director or CEO of it.

Aside from that, she's been arriving recently from country to country to attend events and appointments because of her business.

Tonight, Girls' Generation is having their much-awaited concert at the Japan Tokyo Dome, called The Best Live at Tokyo Dome. They had planned and practiced this concert for so long. But because of what happened, they had to practice and change their formations and take Jessica's lines.

Right now, they're singing their debut song, Into The New World. But they changed it to a ballad version, and it got more emotional. As the song goes on and on, the members couldn't hold back their tears.

Almost all of the members are seeing obviously crying except for Taeyeon. But she did cried. She just didn't cried that much because she needed to. She got the most lines and high notes of the song. If she'll keep on crying, she may not reached the high notes perfectly. And I think that represents her responsibility of the group. She's the leader, she has a big responsibility of the group. That shows that she needs to stay strong for her to continue her responsibilities.
