More Than Just One Night

If You Love Her

Y/N immediately steps in front of Lizzie to protect her and their baby. He holds his hand out to Robbie who keeps the gun pointed at him.

"Robbie, you don't have to do this."

"Yes I do!"

His finger moves closer to the trigger.

"Wait!"

Y/N's arm reaches back holding Lizzie against his back as he holds his other hand out to Robbie. 

"You still love Lizzie right?"

Robbie looks at him, his finger on the trigger.

"Obviously!"

"And you want her to be happy right?"

"Yes!"

He moves away from Lizzie, moving closer to Robbie holding out both hands, Lizzie texts Scarlett their location and tells her to call the cops. 

"Then don't you think she wants to be alive? That would make her happy."

"You barely know her!"

"You're right I don't. You did though right?"

"Yes..."

His finger moves off the trigger.

"And you loved her?"

"I still do!"

His finger moves back on the trigger.

"That's right, you still do. And you want her to be loved right?"

"Yes!"

"If you love her then let her be happy, let me love her."

Y/N stops a few steps in front of Robbie with his hands still out as Lizzie watches nervously. Robbie looks behind Y/N at Lizzie.

"Are you happy with him?"

"Yes I really am."

He looks at Y/N.

"Do you love her?"

"With every single heartbeat."

Robbie lowers the gun just as the sirens can be heard, followed by cop cars coming into view. The officers get out with their guns pointed at Robbie. 

"Drop the weapon!"

Robbie drops the gun and puts his hands up. One officer starts to cuff him, Y/N letting go of a breath he didn't know he was holding.

He turns around to look at Lizzie walking to her quickly cupping her cheeks before she throws her arms around him crying as he holds her tightly.

"It's okay, we're okay."

"I thought he was gonna kill you."

"I'm here, I'm okay."

He kisses her head stroking her hair as Scarlett comes running towards the two joining the hug, each of them wrapping an arm around her. 

"Are you two okay?"

They all pull away to look at the officer. 

"Yeah, we're good. Thanks officer Stevens."

"Anytime Y/N. He won't be able to hurt you again. Thought he would've stopped after hitting you with his car."

Officer Stevens looks in the direction of Robbie being put in one of the cars.

"Looks like the whole force came out."

"We did. As soon as we heard your name we all rushed out, even officers off duty."
