Chapter 7

Lavender's POV:

Great, we are doing introductions. I don't really understand the whole point of this, like why are we wasting a whole lecture doing this? We will simply learn the names as the year will go by. I decided to just ignore whoever was gonna speak whatever. I turned to Jeremy to see what he was doing. He looked bored as well, keeping his chin on his palm and looking nowhere in specific. I decided to write a small note to him so I don't get scolded by the teacher for talking. 'Hey, you ok?' said the note. I nudged him slightly and passed the note towards him. A minute later he passed the note back to me.

'Not really, a pretty lady who just so happens to have lavender eyes and brown curly hair snapped at me for no specific reason, and I know for sure she hates me now :(' read the note. Of course he drew a frown as well. I smiled a little at his silliness, knowing very well he was kidding but I did owe him an apology. So I quickly scribbled back a 'I am sorry, just something pissed me off' and passed it back to him.

I waited for a few minutes, wondering what was taking him so long to write. He finally slid the note back to me and I realized that he is a very slow writer because no one takes that long to write 2 sentences. 'I mean no shit dude, something obviously pissed you off or else you wouldn't scream at me. Unless you are an asshole, which you aren't. So what did piss you off is what I want to know' The note read. I sighed, he obviously knew that me and Rose aren't the greatest of friends and I am surprised he did not notice my greatest nemesis sitting in the same classroom as us. I quickly scribbled back a reply instructing him to look to the other end of the classroom and just as soon as Mr. Kincaid called out Rose for cursing in the class.

Jeremy's eyes shot up to look at me with a look of surprise and then turned his head around towards where Rose was so fast I was surprised he didn't snap his neck.

I was waiting for a reaction from him when he suddenly shouts "OH WOW! You're quite boring!" at something Rose had said. I mentally face my palm and hold back the urge to slap him for doing that in front of the whole class. Like I despise Rose, I really do, but he humiliated himself right now more than he humiliated her. Mr. Kincaid and Ribero both turn to look at him, Mr. Kincaid asks him to apologize while Ribero just glared at us like she is ready to kill us then and there.

I don't understand why she hates me so much, but if that's the case, then i'll hate her. Like things were so good before... I don't know what happened suddenly that she hates me now.

I wrote another note to him saying 'What the fuck dude?' to know why he would do something so stupid. He wrote back 'I said the truth, she has no hobbies. What kind of person does not have any hobbies?'. I mentally face palmed AGAIN at his stupidity. I just shook my head disappointedly at him and turned to look at Rose (*wink wink*) knowing she is gonna be pissed at what Jeremy has said and ranting about it to her friend, what was her name again? Kenny? Kinsley? Whatever it was. Though I wasn't expecting what I saw. She was just laying her head on the table, doodling something in her book. Huh. That was never the case before... Suddenly the sound of my name being called out broke me out of my daze. I looked up to see Mr. Kincaid asked me to introduce myself. Though before I turned around to face him, for a split second I saw Rose look up from whatever she was doing and look towards me.

I stood up in my seat and started introducing myself. "Hello, my name is Lavedendar Springs! And my hobbies are listening to music, playing basketball and reading!" I said, smiling a bit. Mr. Kincaid nodded with a small smile on his face. He seems kind. I sat back down as Jeremy stood up as it was his turn now. I realized Jeremy was the last one left to introduce himself. I decided to look out the window as I know EVERYTHING about this kid already.

Author's note: Here's the new part. It's not the best but it's something. I am working on the next chapter as well right now so it should probably be out by the end of this book or next week.
