Lavender's POV:
Alfred, my butler, walked into my room. "Ms. Springs, wake up. Your brother is waiting for you downstairs" Said Alfred. "Tell him I'll join him in 30 minutes" I replied back sleepily. "But Mrs, you'll be late for school if you don't wake up now!" Alfred said, trying to wake me up. My eyes shot open, it was the first day of a new year in school! I didn't want to be late! So obviously I sat up, rubbing my eyes and stretching.
I thanked Alfred for waking me up and told him he may leave. I then got up and went to the washroom, washing my face and brushing my teeth. I went downstairs to have breakfast, I saw William already sitting on the table. "Good Morning, brother!" I said cheerfully. "Morning Lav, now hurry up and eat and get ready for school" He replied back. "Are you not excited for this year, Will?" I asked him. "Not really, it's nothing new... I mean, I go there, learn some boring ass stuff which god knows will come handy in my future except a few things, come back home, do my homework, eat, sleep and then repeat the same thing the next day. So I don't understand how it's so special?" He said in a tone that reflected he was just done with everything at this point.
"Well William, there are new teachers, new stuff to learn, new classmates-" "See, now that's something i don't like!" William interrupted me. "I don't understand why they change our section each year, why can't we just stay with the same people? Like, I barely get to know them in a year and- ''''That's because you don't try, Will!" I interrupted him this time "You hate socializing, i know that! That is why you barely get to know your classmates!" I said trying not to laugh because of how my 17 year old brother was behaving like a 7 year old.
"You got a point there, now eat and get ready or we'll be late!" He said, going to his room to get ready. I quickly ate my breakfast and went up to my room to get ready. I tried to find something good to wear. After 10 minutes of digging into my closet to find something good, I finally decided on wearing a white off shoulder full sleeved shirt, with a black sleeveless dress which reached right above my knee and knee high black boots. I tied my hair up in a bun with 2 strands of my hair hanging loose, framing my face. I quickly put on some light makeup. I grabbed my phone and my bag and ran downstairs.
I texted Jeremy, telling him to get ready and we'll be reaching at his place to pick him up in 10 minutes. We were actually gonna reach his place in 25 minutes but I had to lie because I knew he probably hadn't even woken up yet. My brother was waiting for me by the door, scrolling on his phone. "Who are you texting?" I asked. "No one, I am scrolling through Insta. I don't have any friends I can text." "Where are mum and dad?" I questioned my brother. ''They are out for business stuff. I know you wanted to meet them before leaving for school, but they had to leave urgently. Sorry Lav" He replied.
"It's fine, Will. It's not your fault, plus I understand they have a lot of work." We both sat in the car and the driver drove us to Jeremy's house. He ran out of the door just as we pulled into the driveway. He had a sandwich in his hand that he was munching on. "Didn't I tell you to be ready when we reach?" I scolded him. "What? I am ready! Just didn't get time to eat breakfast, that's all! Stop screaming at me Lav!" He replied back smiling. I rolled my eyes while smiling at him knowing very well that he got up like 10 minutes before we arrived, we drove off from there, heading to our school. I was so excited! "So, Jeremy. Are you excited for the new school year?" I asked him. He swallowed the last bite of his sandwich and replied, " Well, not really. I mean, it's the same old things with different people this year. Isn't it?"
"No dumbass! It's gonna be so much more different! We will be learning different stuff, we'll even have different classmates, different time tables, literally everything is new!" I said back, in an irritated voice. How do none of these boys understand how this year is so different.
"Jeez, Lav! Calm down! I know things are lot different, but the routine is same. School, home, homework, eat and then repeat!" Jeremy replied back. "That's exactly what i told her." William said. He is usually quiet, but him and Jeremy are sort of close so he does talk to him. "See! Even your brother agrees with me!" Jeremy replied, smiling like an idiot. I rolled my eyes at them and looked outside the window while they went on talking about how there wasn't much difference in school from the last year and new year.
We reached school in about 1 hour and all 3 of us got out of the car. I said goodbye to my brother when we got inside the school building. I was glad me and Jeremy were in the same class. We had a lot of time before class so Jeremy and I decided to just hangout near the lockers in the hallway.
Author's note: Again, i know this is trashy and is very stupid but i really wanted to try something new. If anyone didn't understand what Lavender was wearing, which i am sure barely anyone did since i explained it so badly. That is why i added a picture of her outfit in the media part.
