by the time, jungkook processed those words taehyung had already turned his back to him, now stepping towards his father who had this proud smirk on his wrinkled face.
jungkook had the urge to strike the old man's face with his clenched fists, but he took into account the man's age and the situation they were in.
it is surprising that jungkook has remained very composed until now, which is the complete opposite of his true nature.
jungkook is a bit of a rebel, always causing trouble and definitely not the kind of guy your grandma would approve of. he's basically trouble on legs, but he kinda likes that about himself. at least it keeps people from messing with him.
despite the usual behavior of people towards him, kim taehyung has always been an outlier. the raven head has consistently acted in an unpredictable manner towards him, displaying an idgaf attitude towards him and doing as he pleases.
jungkook was often filled with nerves yet simultaneously amused to know someone who did not idolize him as a deity or vilify him as a lowly rat - the typical ways in which he was perceived by most. the feeling of being viewed as an ordinary boy was one that jungkook actually liked.
but perhaps not anymore. it's possible that taehyung has always viewed him not as a normal guy but rather as a toy to be played with and discarded at his whim. maybe all along, only he has enjoyed the time they spent together and maybe it was only him that thought it mattered.
nevertheless, how could he allow everything to come to an end like this? wouldn't it make him appear pathetic to simply give up on kim taehyung just because he wants to? does his opinion hold no value? jungkook cannot simply come to terms with this.

"stop, jeon. no matter what you say, i'm not turning back. save your words" taehyung spoke while his back faced jungkook — well, that just pissed the younger further.
initially, he was upset, but now he is filled with anger. this anger towards taehyung is just as intense as it was on their first encounter and the previous feelings of hatred towards him have resurfaced once again.
before he could say anything else, taehyung signaled for his father to enter his home, and the old man nodded while giving jungkook, who was fuming a dirty smirk.
jungkook could kill a bitch right now if he could.
however, he didn't say anything. he simply observed as the two men entered through the gate before it shut in his face. he stood there with fury in his eyes, his fists clenched, and his jaw tightly set.
