~ Namjoon POV ~
Racing towards the smell of Jimin's blood he screamed shrilly into the air at the sight before him. The human was laying there in a pool of his own life's essence, eyes unblinking and body barely moving with a wound coming all the way from his back to the front of his stomach. "NO!" He placed Yoongi nearby, the other not even stirring as he none to gently put him down.
"NO!"
"NO!"
"NO!"
Panic coursed through him as he changed back to normal, body morphing and cracking back into place as he went to cradle Jimin in his arms. Tears leaked from his eyes in heavy droplets, shuddering sobs wracking his chest as he pressed the human as close to him as he could. He was breaking, he could feel it. He was absolutely breaking inside.
"You can't leave me," The words were nothing more than a whisper as he cried, "Please don't leave me." He didn't even notice that Taehyung was nowhere to be found in his sorrow, his sole focus on the dying human who he had grown to care for so much in the last few hours since he had known him. "Jimin please."
The other didn't answer him, his body limp and voice silent, and all Namjoon could do was cry. Wishing that he could die with him.
Blood was covering him, dripping onto his lap, and the sight didn't make him hunger, but a thought occurred to him.
His blood....
Jungwoo used to threaten him with putting Kyungmin into a draining chamber because their blood was supposed to have extreme healing properties. Biting into his wrist Namjoon held up the now dripping flesh to Jimin's lips in hopes that he would wake up, that he would drink from him, but he didn't, he continued to lie there in his arms motionless.
Seeing no other choice and nearly frantic to keep him alive, Namjoon followed his instincts and sucked a mouthful of his own blood into his mouth, pried open Jimins and slowly fed it to him, moving his throat in order to help him swallow. He repeated this multiple times. Getting their bloods mixed together as he tried to revive him but still the wound didn't close and his breathing slowed down even further.
"Jimin please..."
(Bite him.)
(Mate.)
Before Namjoon even knew what he was doing he lifted Jimin's neck up to his lips, and bit the side that he hadn't drank from earlier, locating a spot not far from his jugular and clamping down. His eyes began to glow, his body thrumming with power as he clutched the human to his chest, and adrenaline and instinct took over.
(Claim.)
(Protect.)
Something was coming out of his fangs, he could feel it happening, but he didn't let go from where he was clamped deep into Jimin's skin. Holding him to him desperately with tears streaming down his face and making his eyes blur.
(Mine.)
The human suddenly thrashed in his arms, roaring brokenly as his body convulsed, the wound healing itself but his limbs contorting and snapping. Namjoon didn't know what he just did, he didn't understand any of it, in fact. But Jimin was breathing, he was alive, and somehow, he was transforming into something like him.
Next thing he knew teeth were burying themselves deep into his neck, the same side that he had just bit Jimin and everything suddenly felt white hot. Molten as his consciousness calmed and energy drained out of him in waves.
Mind becoming fuzzy, Namjoon blacked out for a moment, barely registering Jimin's screams and he transformed back to normal, shaking in his arms and clinging to him as if he was the only thing in the world that mattered in that moment. Twin purrs started to rumble through both of their chests as they hugged each other, instinct once more kicking in as they licked at the wounds now on their necks. A contentedness settling in around them as they held each other.
"Mate."
"Mate."
