Beck wakes up to the glimmer from the mellow beam of sunlight that snuck out from the gap of the cream-coloured blinds, he turns to face the peacefully sleeping Jade. He runs his fingers along her long, straight black hair, until it reaches the curled and lustrously green dyed ends. As he thinks out loud, he whispers, "Even though you can be quite a bitch sometimes, but I'm not sure what I would do without you?"

"Stop staring at me or you're gonna regret it," mumbles a barely awoken Jade.

"Good morning beautiful."

"Whatever."

"Come on, wake up, we got to get to class."

"Uhhh, let me just get back to sleep," as Jade turned the other way covered her head with the blankets.

"Sorry not an option, get up," Beck pulled on the covers.

"STOPPP! I hate you!" Jade yelled in response.

"Why are you always such a grouch in the morning?"

"Maybe it's because of your janky bed."

"Don't bring my bed into this, it's completely fine."

"If you love your bed so much, why don't you just marry it!"

"Alright I'm done, get ready and we'll head out."

Chelsea awoke to the rustling sounds her blankets. She was still in a dreamy state from the events of last night. As she turned to look at the other side of the bed, Andre was there, already half-dressed from the bottom half.

"What's the rush? Why don't you stay for breakfast so we can head to school together?" As her mind wandered, dazed by the chiselled body in front of her.

"Nah, I'll just head out, sorry I woke you sleeping beauty...." he said hurriedly.

"Please I insist! I can't leave you heading to school without breakfast! There's no way you're not at least a little hungry," her tone sounding gradually more hurried and anxious.

"Don't worry girl, I'll be fine. One less meal ain't gonna hurt me," Andre chuckled nervously as he put on his rugged white T-shirt and proceeded to grab his school bag.

"Please Andre.... It would mean a lot to me if we could go to school together." Chelsea pulled back her sheets revealing her slender figure with a transparent tank top that struggled to keep covered the best features of her body unknown.

His mind was caught in a dilemma, like a knot that only gets pulled tighter and tighter from both ends as time goes by. He thought to himself, I just can't get Jade off my mind, whatever I do with Chelsea all I could think is how much I would enjoy it with Jade. Just Jade, Jade, JADE, all the time! I mean I thought of Jade while kissing Chelsea! I can't be with Jade, at least not now, and I certainly shouldn't hope either, I don't ever date my best friend's ex! Chelsea is so sweet and beautiful how come she can't seem to replace my feelings for Jade?? But if I can't have Jade, why am I even conflicted? I should just try to cultivate this relationship with Chelsea, it's my only option right now anyway!

"...... Ok Chelsea let's get breakfast," he finally decided.

"But Andre just in case my parents are still in, can you climb out of the window here and just enter from the front? I'm sorry I will repay you with my delicious blueberry pancakes, it's my grandmother's recipe and everyone loves it... sorry..." as she gestured to the nearby window.

"Really? Girl you're a crazy one! I really hope those pancakes are worth it." As he began to climb out the window to begin his downward decent onto the patio below.

"They're blueberry pancakes and they're good, trust me."

"They better beeeeeee!!" As Andre missed a small ledge and fell flailing back first onto the nearby shrubs.

"OH NO! Are you okay Andre?? Oh, my I'm so so sorry! Are you okay??" As she spoke as loudly as possible, while weary in hopes that everyone else in the house won't hear them.

"Ahhhh Ow! You're lucky I'm beefy!" replied a very much dazed Andre. While Chelsea's genuine concern turned into a slight chuckle as she tried to cover it with her hands.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't be laughing, but how you're hanging there is kind of funny," as she found it hard to control her laughter.

"If you were here, you would know it's not funny, just go open the door for me." Andre sighed a sigh of relief just happy he was not badly injured.

As the pancakes were being cooked, Chelsea tended to the minor cuts and injuries from Andre's fall.

"Chelsea, you know you have really soft hands, soft as a baby's bottom..." Andre mentioned as she disinfected and bandaged his wounds.

"What a weird but lovely comment, I love it..." Chelsea says as her tone drops softly and she slowly gravitates towards Andre, heads locked and eyes staring into one another as if their souls were laid bare to one another, their lips were moments apart from meeting when, "Good morning, Chelsea!" immediately snapped the two from their love trance.

"......Good morning mom" replied a startled Chelsea, caught like a deer in the headlights.

"Good morning, Chelsea's mom, I'm Andre, a friend of Chelsea's" immediately quipped an equally as startled but also embarrassed Andre.

"Yes, I can see, Andre," replied a less than impressed Chelsea's mom.

"I just invited him over for breakfast mom, we were gonna head to school together."

"I was just about to head out, we were just finishing up," said Andre in an awkward rush.

"No! Don't leave yet, we haven't eaten yet!"

"Alright I'll just leave you kids to breakfast, but we are going to have a little chat tonight young lady," Chelsea's mom said as calmly as possible, as she slowly walked all the way back upstairs.

"Sorry Andre, it was all a surprise to me, I had no idea my mom would be so cold!"

"It's ok we were having a good time before that, let's just get some pancakes and head to school."

"Sounds good, but like I said blueberry pancakes." As Chelsea went to check on the first batch of pancakes to find them burnt beyond the point of being edible.

"Aren't all pancakes just pretty much the same?" asked Andre.

"No! It's different, try it and you'll know. But I'll need a second batch now, I've burnt the first batch. Whoops!" As she was throwing away the burnt pancakes and started to cook a new batch.

"Just curious, Chelsea, was there any reason why you came up to me last night, because I've performed up there many times. Why now?" asked a curious Andre.

"No, particular reason....... I just...I just thought it was the right moment last night, I wanted to do this for a long time. Last night I had the courage to do so," Chelsea said quickly but hesitantly.

"Really? I had no idea I had such a beautiful fan like you out there in the crowd!" said Andre.

"That's sweet of you Andre. What do you put on your pancakes? Whipped cream, maple syrup, peanut butter?" she asked as she passed the fresh pancakes to him.

"Maple syrup please."

"Great choice, I'm the same too." She replied.

"WOW this is actually amazing, best pancakes I've ever had!" exclaimed Andre as he sprung up, pulled Chelsea up by her hand and twirled her around.

"What did I tell you?"

"It made my fall almost worth it," replied a cheeky Andre.

"You're a dick Andre," Chelsea joked as she rolled her eyes and gave him a friendly punch to the arm.

"Let's finish up and head to school, I don't wanna be late!" said Andre as he wolfed down the rest of his pancakes.

"I love a man who likes to be on time."

"And I equally love your 'blueberry' pancakes."

"You got it right this time. Blueberry pancakes!"Chelsea laughed.
