Sunoo's day couldn't get any worse. Well, lately every day was pulling him into a darker hole.
But this...was almost his last straw.
Sunghoon's head lifted as he heard the doorbell echoing through the shop. Walking in was Sunoo, but he soon recognized something was off about him.
"Are you alright?" he got to ask, while Sunoo managed to stumble in front of him. His eyes seemed swollen and pupils dilated.
Sunoo needed to talk to someone, because it was hurting him too much. But where would he have to start?
"The police...my mom- I just" he stopped mid-sentence because he could feel his anger or fear building up. He shook his head and stared down at his feet.
"Hey, why don't we sit down okay? Take it slow, there aren't any customers right now any way"
Sunoo swallowed a pig gulp and nodded to the idea.
After the two get to sit down on one of the chairs in the shop, Sunoo began to talk.
"The detective who was investigating on my brother's death case called me today". Sunoo blankly stared down at the table as he recalled the events of just this morning.
"He told me they arrested my mother and explained to me other things that I don't even remember anymore...but they said apparently they got suspicious after interrogating my mother and investigated further, only to find out that it was her who forced and somehow managed to drug Jay"
Tears welled up in Sunoo's eyes again, who still couldn't believe what he had heard.
Sunghoon just stayed still and continued to listen. "They found proof for everything and every incident that happened that day...I don't even know if I'm supposed to be sad that he suffered like that, or if I should be mad that they couldn't find out sooner...maybe I should even be happy that my mother is getting arrested?"
The younger finally looked up into Sunghoon's eyes who was giving him a slight smile. "I'm sorry, I'm blabbering too much, I'm a weak mess".
"Don't be sorry," Sunghoon finally spoke out, his thumb nudging against Sunoo's knuckles. "It's okay to feel that way. I think you have the right to feel all of these emotions, because that is for sure a fucked up thing you're going through".
"If you say so," Sunoo mumbled. The touch of the elder already managed to calm him down somehow. So he bravely shifted his hand some more to make it touch with Sunghoon's again. He didn't move away.
There is silence breaking in the room, and the two of them just shared looks at each other for a while. Sunghoon headed him over a tissue so that Sunoo could blow his nose and dry his tears. The silliness of the whole situation cracked him a smile on his face again, and allowed him to break the silence.
"There will be tomorrow a court trial that I have to attend", Sunoo locked his eyes again, and Sunghoon's eyebrows shot up. "I wanted to ask you if you could come with me...like I have no one and I don't know".
"Sure, let's do that. I would like to stay by your side"
Was Sunghoon referring to the court trial or to something else?
A/N: lil filler again sorry
