O77 (two)

the day wasn't that bad at all. the birds were chirping and the wind was blowing smoothly. the little girl was playing happily all by herself in their garden. her eyes fell on a white butterfly that was sitting peacefully on a red nameless flower.

her innocent heart found it very interesting. she sat in front of the flower as silently as possible to not startle the cute being. she was mesmerised by its beauty, finding out common little nature things by herself.

her concentration and butterfly's peacefulness both got ruined when two boys passed the garden, in a very quick way.

heesung tried to stop his best friend but there was no use. jisung was determined to find out the truth even if it took him till night. he simply didn't care about those little things.

he snatched his hand out of heesung's clasp, giving him a very sour look "fuck off heesung! do you think i am going to argue with her? i am just going to have a normal talk and find out the truth" he snapped at him, taking big steps toward that exact house.

heesung didn't stop following him "i know, i am just gonna accompany you" he calmly stated, not minding the elder's bad mood toward him.

he was used to it. and this time he thought that tailing his best friend was the better option cause he knew his cousin too. if he let jisung and yuna talk alone by themselves, then the outcome wouldn't be that pretty.

they stopped in front of the door and jisung rang the doorbell. soon a woman, who was supposedly heesung's aunt.

he bowed to her slightly "um, we are here to talk to yuna about something important" he glanced at jisung who was standing stiffly, keeping his mouth shut.

she scanned both boys with a smile and nodded her head, opening the door widely for the guests "she's upstairs" she let them know, pointing upstairs with his eyes.

after bowing once more to his aunt, heesung lead the way to yuna's bedroom and jisung followed him behind this time.

yuna heard footsteps and rotated his sliding chair, waiting for whoever was outside to come inside.

heesung knocked on the door then opened it, getting invited by yuna's surprised face.

her surprised face turned into an amused one when she saw jisung's face. She slightly scoffed "what a pleasant surprise!" she fluttered his eyelashes, acting pleased by jisung's presence.

jisung pushed heesung from his way and walked closer to yuna "who is jake to you?" he went straight to the point, without wasting more time.

yuna gave him a dirty look then turned his chair, back facing the boys "you are the least person i wanna talk to about this topic"

jisung squinted "yuna, we don't even know each other. you have no right to talk to me like that" his voice sounded louder.

he sighed heavily when yuna kept his silence.

he rubbed his temple and spoke, this time he sounded calm and.. tired "just tell me the truth, i will leave jake"

yuna's eyes opened wide, looking straight into the pink wall "i like jake" she confessed, letting her feelings out with words.

she liked jake, so, so much. since the day she first got a glimpse of jake. and his personality didn't help her either. how come such a sweet guy was still single?

yuna was an introvert, she didn't know how to approach him by herself. also, being a junior was a disadvantage.

thanks to their dance teacher who randomly picked her to be jake's dance partner. jake's gentleman behaviour, his sweetness, his smile, his goofiness, everything brought yuna closer to him.

she realized how much she was into him.

but everything started trembling when she found out that jake had his eyes on someone else. and it bothered her more when she realised that that person was his cousin's best friend.

she met jisung a few times. was there anything special about him? absolutely not. if anything, his blabbering mouth didn't quite suit yuna's liking.

she didn't use to despise him, but later it changed since the day jake mistakenly admitted that he was dating someone.

she started the rumour, to gain sympathy and succeded. even though she never told her friends to do anything about it.

heesung was aware of his cousin's doings "what about him? does he like you too?" he asked the important question that yuna was trying to hide.

would it be okay to lie? yuna thought, scratching on the table with her big nails.

maybe it was a chance for her. maybe if they broke up, jake would accept yuna's confession.

after a big gap of silence, she finally let out "o- of course he does! we go to the dance class together. and he- he said he liked me too" she hesitated, hoping the other two wouldn't find her trembling voice as a sign of deceiving.

jisung was too agitated at that moment to understand her tone "that's what i wanted to know, thanks" he lastly said and turned around to leave the room and head to jake's place.

he needed to confirm it before leaving the younger.

believing her words like that would be a work of fool. he needed jake's words.

on the other hand, jake was clueless about everything. he didn't even know what was coming for him, not for that day only, but for a long time.
