The screen faded from its usual black into the very first scene of the movie, darkness, with the only thing that could be seen, was a sign with the words, 'Privet Drive' written on it, illuminated by the nearby lamp post, a dark brown barn owl sitting a top of it.
As the owl flew away, the screen shifted towards a wooded area fully covered by fog, where a figure could be seen, moving closer and closer.
As the figure continued to move closer, a man could be seen. This man was unlike anything, anyone had seen on Privet Drive. He wall a very tall, elderly man, wearing purple robes, and a beard so long, it could be tucked into the waistband of his pants.
This man was none other than, Albus Dumbledore.
"Professor, what are you doing there?" James asked.
"Idiot, did you hear nothing. This is the future, nobody knows what they're doing, and why they are doing it" Snape said with an annoyed face.
A tabby cat, sitting on a small step, watched Dumbledore with slightly stern eyes, as he holds a small object, raising it into the air, collecting all of the lights from the lampposts, leaving him in complete darkness.
"MINNIE!" The Marauders scream.
"How many times do I have to tell you-" McGonagall was unerupted by.
"Please refrain from calling me that" The Marauders quoted at the same time, while you saw McGonagall trying to hide a smile.
After the lights disappeared, a 'meow' was heard, causing Dumbledore to look down in front of him, where he smiled, spotting the tabby cat.
"I should have known you would be here, Professor McGonagall." Dumbledore said, the scene sliding over to the wall as you saw the cat's shadow, as it changed from animal to human.
"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore." McGonagall said, walking at Dumbledore's side as he continued walking down the street. "Are the rumors true, Albus?" She said.
"What rumors" Regulus says.
"You'll see, Reggie." Amelia answered in a sweet but still exhausted voice.
Regulus smiled happy at being called a nickname only Sirius ever called him. Besides him is Evan teasing him with, ReGgIE.
"I'm afraid so, Professor. The good and the bad."
"And the boy?" Professor McGonagall asked.
"Hagrid is bringing him."
"Do you think it's wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?" She asked to which he nodded.
"Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life."
A loud starling noise was heard in the distance, breaking the silence of the eerie night. Both professors looked up towards the sky as the noise became louder and louder, when a blinding light shone above them.
A very large man came flying in on a motorbike, stopping at the end of the street, not far away from the two professors, as McGonagall held onto Dumbledore's arm in worry, before letting go and placing a hand over her heart.
Sirius looks in awe, then to James, then back to the screen. "Yes, I'll buy it for you Padfoot." James says to his best friend reassuringly.
The large man, wore a heavy coat larger than himself, an untidy mess of hair fell from his chin as he wore glasses, made for flying, a very small bundle of clothes resting is his giant arms.
"Professor Dumbledore, sir. Professor McGonagall" He said, carefully stepping of the bike, walking towards them.
"No problems, I trust, Hagrid?" Dumbledore asked.
"No, sir. Little tyke fell asleep just as we were flying over the Bristol. Try not to wake him. There you go." He finished, handing the small bundle to Dumbledore, he and professor McGonagall inching closer to catch him, just in case he fell.
"If I may ask, where did you get the motorcycle from, Hagrid?" Dumbledore asked.
"I lend it, Professor Dumbledore, sir. Young Sirius Black lent it to me."
"Yes, yes. You hear that Prongs. IT IS MINE"
The three adults walked forward together as professor McGonagall pursed her lips. "Albus, do you really think it's safe leaving him here with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of muggles imaginable. They really are-"
"The only family he has." Dumbledore interrupted.
At that moment there is suddenly another man standing in the streets. It was a man in his twenties with scars over his face and red puffy eyes because he was crying.
"Moons, is that you?" Sirius asks. "I guess so Pads."
"Give him here, Dumbledore. You've got no rights over him. You can't just give him away!" He says.
"Listen Remus, he can't grow up here. There won't be a child who won't know his name. He would be famous, but for a child that's not a pleasure to live in." Dumbledore reasoned.
"I understand why you do it, Dumbledore. But I can go live in the muggle world. I can do that. Than he won't have to go to them, Lily told me about them, they hate wizards. You cannot send him there."
"You brought a wizard to my sister. And as I think, since it's 'family', it is my son! You can't do that! Give him to Remus or something, BUT NOT TO MY SISTER. She'll suck the magic out of him!"
"I'm real sorry Remus but I can't." Dumbledore says.
"I've already lost everything this evening and you're stealing him from me now too. You just can't do that." Remus says, while he's breaking down on the floor.
"Lost everything?" Remus ask, a bit sad towards the travellers, who look sad at him back.
"I'm sorry Remus, but I still can't, and I need you to leave right now."
"No I won't go till I have my nephew in my hands." Remus countered.
"Then I am really sorry about this. Stupefy!" With that Remus is knocked back and before he could hit the ground professor McGonagall held him with her wand in the air. McGonagall apparated him back to his manor and spelled him so he wouldn't wake up for 12 hours.
"WHAT, WHY, MINNIE" The Marauders scream, while McGonagall looks a bit guilty down.
They walked towards the front door where McGonagall and Dumbledore stopped.
Hagrid looked around desperately trying not to cry, as Dumbledore took a quick look around, before looking at the baby in the wrapped blankets.
"Until he's ready." He said firmly, as McGonagall repeatedly blinked back tears, Dumbledore placing the baby on the doorstep.
McGonagall kept her stare on the baby, as Dumbledore walked toward Hagrid, whose loud sniffs filled the tense silence. "There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all."
They all looked towards the baby as McGonagall looked heartbroken, trying hard to keep herself together. Dumbledore walked towards the bay, placing a letter with green writing, a top of the blankets.
"Good luck, Harry Potter." Dumbledore said, as the screen zoomed in on the face of the sleeping baby, before zeroing in on the lightning bolt scar, on his forehead, above his left eyebrow.
"YOU LEFT HIM ON THE DOORSTEP!!!"
The screen grew closer and closer to the scar before it started glowing white, before it exploded into the cloudy night sky, lightning and thunder surrounding the golden words 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone'
