"Y/n we need to speak," Alcina spoke lowly "There's something I need to get off my chest." You turned to her and smiled. "Yes?" You saw how her face soured, you got worried but didn't show. "What did you want to talk about?" Your innocent voice chimed. Her heart broke at that. "It's about us..." Alcina then said, your heart stopped and you took a moment to register what she said. "Sorry?" You said wanting to hear correctly. "Y/n I need to take some time for myself. I want to take a break..from this...and us." She finally breathed. "What do you mean? I can't, I don't...I don't understand. What have I done." She exploded "You have done everything! You annoy me! That's what you do! You are such an imbecile! You don't understand anything! You sit there and just sit! You do nothing but try to look pretty! You aren't! You're a mess. You cry and can't even fix your problems. You are a disappointment and a disgrace. I absolutely hate you! You're weak and pathetic! I could've done better than date a woman like you." She screamed. She let all her true feelings go and screamed it all in your face.
"Please...Please just love me..." You said stepping toward her and going for her hands. She pulled away and took a step back looking at you with pity. No, you thought, not this again. "You said this wouldn't happen. You said nothing would get in between this. In between us!" Your voice painfully receded. "You liar!" You shot words at her.
She'd back away with each step you took. "You told me you loved me. You told me you cared for me." You looked away from her and down to the tiled floor. "Y/n..." She spoke. Hearing her hurt you even more. Hearing her say your name was painful. You collapsed, your knees hitting the hard-tiled floor. Your heart was crushed and blown by the wind. "Y/n." She reached for you but you slapped her hand away. "I don't need you just like you don't need me. If this is how things are going to be between us then so be it." You spat pure hate but behind it you wanted it to be words of love and adoration.
"Please understand where I'm trying to come from." She spoke kneeling in front of you. "I don't need to 'understand' you. You stand in my way! You are what's keeping me from becoming more than what I could've become." You stood and looked her in the eyes. "We are no more. To tell you something else...I-I love you." You said and kissed her head. She was now in tears and holding onto you. Her golden eyes stare into your tearful ones. "I'm sorry...with everything. Just don't leave. I can't live without you. I really can't, you hold me to this earth you are my angel please don't go." She rambled her 'love' to you. You were out of bounds from here. You didn't want to see her like this.
Your heart was not there anymore. Instead, you lay there, with nobody but yourself. Alone you were.
"I love you y/n." She cried into your abdomen. You pushed her away and looked lovingly into her eyes. "Goodbye." You walked away and out the door. Without hesitation, you took the next path. Letting it lead you on into your new life.
