Yume currently has no vice captain; he doesn't see anyone fitting the position within his time as captain; he has seen a lot about the soul society. The research facility, the power houses like the kenpachi he has done his research and tried to gain as much knowledge as possible. In doing so Yume over the years started developing an item but he just didn't know what he was doing wrong he needed more he needed something new and different. An alert was sounded and there were reports of a mysterious gate opening not from Hueco mundo or the human world from some unknown place. Immediately Yume knew what this place was and a smile appeared on his face as he realized he finally found the missing peace he needed. Luckily for him and his squad was called into action to investigate the situation. He immediately takes his squad into action; this was his big break before leaving; he looks at his table and grabs this small orb-like object. He lifts the object in the air. It looked similar no, just like the jigokyuko from that shinka he fought all those years ago. However he doesn't call it that but says "Well Hogyoku it's time you reach your full potential well get a step closer to evolving into something worthy enough of being considered a product of the Soul King." Yume smiles and puts the Hogyoku away as he runs out of the soul society right in front of the portal that opened. There they see a portal that Yume recognizes as the portal to hell. Yume looks back and tells his squad "This will be a very important mission. You might not survive but you will be victorious. We will not fall because we will not let the soul society fall." all of his squad members yell out ready to claim victory as they run into the portal unfortunately they would not.
