they were all at gales apartment building down about taking a lost. it seems everytime they think they're one step ahead ghostface manages to prove them wrong. they sat in silence mourning at the fact ghostface won again.

sereyah sat at the edge of the bench they were sitting on in between chad and mindy with her elbows on her knees just thinking. she's scared at least one of them might not survive this time and it's sinking in. she realized it might be her becasue she has the least to loose. her friends will miss her but they'll have somebody to hold them. she doesn't want any of them to loose their only siblings. she's not the sacrificial person but she see's how this'll go. she might be okay with that.

they were interrupted by danny coming inside out of breath towards sam, "hey, hey. i got here as fast i could."

tara looked at him suspiciously, "did you?"

sereyah could help but look at him the same as mindy ignored it to tired to accuse anybody right now, "i'm scared, you guys. i really don't wanna get hurt again."

chad spoke too, "neither do i."

"i don't want you getting hurt again either." mindy told her brother.

he leaned back behind rey and put his head on mindy's shoulder. mindy's knees being up, rey seeked comfort too by leaning her head slightly on her knees and mindy held her hand. tara just put her head in mindy's shoulder without words as they stay quiet in their defeat.

sereyah felt chad rubbing her arm and closed her eyes at the feeling and chad sighed, "so what do we do now?"

sam answered, "maybe he gets to win this time."

the four colleges students lifted their heads in shock not expecting that, "he wants to punish me. me. so maybe i let him. i'll just...give myself up. if this is what i have to do to keep you safe. it's worth it."

tara got up, "no, we're not doing that sam. alright you moved back to woodsboro to protect me. every single day, you make the decision to protect me, none of us would even be alive if it wasn't for you. you have to let us protect you this time."

sam shook her head and tara wasn't having it, "yes, we're a team remember?"

mindy got up, "actually we're a family."

sereyah got up and smiled, "we're a family." she nodded at the sentence.

chad clapped and bounced up happy, "let's go, final five, come on."

he put his hand in the middle and the rest followed, "final five."

danny nodded at the excitement but had to ask, "final what?"

"it's an us thing." chad smile at him and danny just nodded in understanding and chuckled.

sam sighed, "he's gonna keep coming after us."

ethan spoke up and everybody realized he was still here, "isn't there somewhere safe we could just hole up in?"

rey shook her head, "he's just gonna keep finding us."

tara liked at rey in realization, "we could use that though."

once they spoke over the plan they decided to call officer bailey, "i'm getting my ass chewed out for not dropping the case and now you want me to do what?"

"we wanna lure him to a secure location and trap him inside." tara told him confidently.

"then what?" bailey asked.

tara looked around at everybody, "we execute him." bailey was silent and tara asked, "are you gonna help us?"

it was silent before bailey said, "let's kill this son of a bitch."

then they came up with a plan.

they put it in motion.

as they weren't down the subway stairs ethan said skeptical about the plan, "is this even a good plan?"

without looking at him tara just told him, "you don't have to come if you don't want to."

"so we just peel off and the killer picks us off one by one? no, thank you." ethan said as if it was obvious which it was.

rey just said, "at least you know."

sam just sighed, "let's just get to the theater. cmon in here."

they all rushed not noticing mindy and ethan trailing a bit far behind. chad making sure he saw rey who was holding hands with tara so they didn't get separted. chad said behind sam, "ah, yes. because it'll be much less scarier at the serial killer movie theater."

since everybody was trying to get to the train chad turned to see mindy not behind him and tried to get to her, "mindy, mindy!"

as soon as he almost had her the door closed and he had to pull his hand back, "shit!"

the train went and he looked at at midny as they rode off. try seeing the whole thing walked up to him and grabbed his arm in comfort.

sam looked around to make sure everybody was here and fought something, "where's mindy?"

chad sighed, "she missed the train. i was gonna wait for her, but cute boy here dragged me on."

danny looked a bit offended, "i was trying to keep us together."

"by pulling us apart?" tara asked him and danny just let it go knowing why they weren't trusting him.

chad checking phone, "it's okay. it's okay. it's fine. she's with ethan. she'll meet use there."

chad then looked up and scanned the subway. rey who was next to him by tara saw his face and and turned to looked around and saw the the same thing and in unison they spoke,

"fucking shit."

"oh, shit."

the rest looked to see and then realized how hard this part actually was. many ghostface mask around and not knowing if they're real or not due to the rest of the world not holding any sympathy towards the alive victims of the attacks and selling bullshit all across the nation, has know actually held consequences against the people now going through yet another hunt,

they realized their predicament and tara looked at the rest, "how many stops do we have?"

sam checked the schedule, "ten."

chad and sereyah looked at eachother as rey let out a breath. they didn't look away until the lights cut out and they could only see the silhouette of eachother. they then went back to being cautious.

they went back to looking around and sereyah felt her phone vibrate she jumped a bit and and chad looked at her.

"you okay?" chad he asked lowly getting closer to her.

and she nodded, "yeah it's just my phone."

she pulled it out to see that her dad texted her. she lightly smiled but was scared to see what he said but sam interrupted her thoughts, "guys?"

and saw somebody in ghostface mask push people to come towards them. reya breath stopped but she ready if needed be. she saw the mask person looking like they were going towards sam and her eyes went back and forth between them. just as he got closer danny instantly moved in front of her only for the masked person to move straight past him and out the door.

they all released a breath they were holding in. and rey looked down into to find chad's hand in hers. she released it and moved away but closer to tara and didn't look him in the eye. he ignored the action and sighed in relief they were okay. for now.
