"You still talk to him. Don't you? That's who you went to meet yesterday?" Abhimanyu grasped Akshara's forearms, pulling her into him.

Akshara felt the slight pinching of touch and flinched. She didn't remove her eyes from his face as she stared intently. "Yes."

Abhimanyu felt his world crash and burn around him. Akshara's words pierced his heart like a sword. He felt hurt. Heartbroken. But he guessed that's what he deserved.

For separating her from him —Soham —the love of her life for his own selfish motives of revenge. His obsession about her. He wanted her from the moment he laid eyes on her. Not to avenge the death of his parents —that had been a part of it —but never had he seen something so beautiful, so enthralling, so magnificent —so angelic that all he wanted to was corrupt her. He wanted to be her reckoning.

He had forced her to marry him. Despite her begging him—pleading him not to. But he had done it anyway. Because he couldn't spend a waking moment without her.

Threatened to kill the man —the man she claimed to love if she ever spoke of him. Spoke to him.

He had trapped her in a marriage where he wanted to use her to torture her father —but yet —he wanted nothing but her. Like they say, love is torture.

She was his unraveling. Soon, the idea of revenge seemed foolish. She had grown on him. Her innocence, her simplicity.

And he had thought things had been going good. Things had taken a turn for the better. She was becoming accepting of him —and their relationship until yesterday. Until she had stabbed him in the back.

Until his security guards which he had follow her had seen her walk into a hotel room and meet up with him —Soham. The wretched man. His security had seen her walk into a hotel room with that man.

He knew Akshara would never love him.

But he didn't want her loving another man either.

"Why? Why did you do it?" He pleaded, his mind tortured with the mere thought of his Akshara with that other man. In the same hotel room.

His mind went there. Doing things which must not be named.

"I know I am an evil man. A bad man. A horrible, monstrous man. But why Akshara? Why did you go to him? Why did you meet him? Why did you..." His words failed him.

Akshara's brows furrowed as she stared at him with challenging eyes. "Why did I what? What is it that you want to say, Abhimanyu?"

"Why did you sleep with him, Akshara?" Abhimanyu grit out, feeling his anger seep through.

Akshara surprised and offended by Abhimanyu's pulled her hand back and slapped Abhimanyu across the face.

"How dare you accuse me on stepping out on our wedding vows?" Akshara berated him. "I admit I was not fond of our marriage or privy to our vows but I respect them. I honour them!"

"Then why?! Why did you go to see him?" He pleaded desperately. "You love him don't you?? You still love him!" He accused.

Akshara shook her head. "No! I love you damnit! I love you!" She screamed, letting the true feelings of her heart shine. "I love you, Abhimanyu Birla. I love you. Somewhere along this messed up marriage, your atrocities, your monstrous obsession —I fell in love with you. I wanted to hate you. I should hate you. But I can't. I am in love with you Abhimanyu Birla." Akshara cried, tears prickling her eyes as they rolled down her cheeks.

Abhimanyu was stunned at Akshara's confession. "You...you love me?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes! I love you!" She screamed. Akshara wiped away at her tears. "And yesterday, I did go to meet Soham. I went to meet him to put a closure to us, to our past. To tell him that I don't love him. Not anymore. That I was a married woman who was devoted and in love with her husband. I didn't let him touch me."

"You...you love me..." It wasn't a question as much as it was a statement. Abhimanyu felt his windpipe constricting at the knowledge that his Akshara —the once whom he had forced to marry him —she loved him.

Abhimanyu wrapped his hand around the nape of her neck, gently caressing the lower lip. He stared into her eyes affectionately, in awe that the Beast had finally gotten the Beauty.

"And I went to tell him that I am pregnant. With your baby. You are going to be a father, Abhimanyu." Akshara informed him, staring intently into his eyes.

"A father. Baby. You are pregnant." He croaked.

She nodded her head. "Yes. We...we are pregnant."

Abhimanyu felt his chest expand with pride.

Akshara loved him.

Akshara was pregnant with his baby.

Akshara was his. Only his.

Abhimanyu crushed his lips against Akshara's capturing her mouth in a soul searing and passionate kiss. Their tongues collided as their hearts raced, leaving them both breathless.

Abhimanyu picked Akshara up of her feet and carried her to their bedroom, gently laying her on the mattress before coming over her.

He pushed her hair out of her face so he cooks clearly see her eyes.

"I love you, Akshara. You are my sun, and you are my moon. You are the stars that shine bright in the night sky. You are my ocean. You are my salvation. I am possessive and jealous. I am hotheaded. I am not worthy of you, I don't deserve you, but I promise you, I will spend every moment of our lives making sure I become the man who is deserving of you. And the baby. I will falter, I will fail, but I promise that with your love, I will pick myself up and try again, and keep on trying until I succeed."

Tears rolled down Akshara's eyes at Abhimanyu's confession. Abhimanyu's hands went down to her waist as he slowly pushed her dress up to her waist and ripped her underwear to shreds.

He then unbuttoned his pants and slid into her with one single thrust, making her gasp at the fullness.

Akshara and Abhimanyu stared into each other's eyes, as he continued to thrust into her. Akshara caressed his face, peppering kisses on his cheeks and jawline as he continued to pump in and out of her.

Akshara bucked her hips and locked her legs around Abhimanyu's waist as she felt her release fleeing her. She closed her eyes, arched her back and let out a loud yelp as she came.

Her body went limp as Abhimanyu thrust into her a few more times before finally spilling himself inside of her.

He pushed Akshara's damp hair away from her face before leaning into kiss her tender lips. He then pulled out of her and kissed her forehead. He then wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to sleep against his chest.

And for the first time since the moment he had laid eyes on Akshara, Abhimanyu Birla would have a peaceful night's sleep.
