Ring, Ring, Ring, (Crack)
"Hello?"
"Hi I would like to speak to Martin Rider?"
"Speaking."
"It's Maddie Chase. We talked earlier at school. I just wanted to know when you wanted me to come over to your house, so I can show you around?"
"How 'bout noon?"
"Great."
"I live on 314 Field Street."
"Thanks."
"See you later."
"Bye."

I look at the clock. 11:38 AM. I should get going. I grab my house keys from the counter and my phone. I put my phone in my pocket and head out the door. I close the door and take my keys out and lock the door. I start walking down the sidewalk. I look at all the trees and houses. I look up to the upcoming road. I see the tiny sign saying Field Street. Suddenly, I start to feel lightheaded. I sit on the bench next to me. I look across the street, when I can't even see where the doors and windows are. It's all a big blur.
"Oh no. Not now! I'm going to be late."
It doesn't matter anyway. My eyesight turns black. I can still hear the cars passing by. I try to make myself look as normal as possible, but it's kind of hard when you can't see anything around you. Then I go deaf. Darn, it's a sound vision. A forest blends into the background around me. I look around and faintly I see a girl running on the road I'm on, but I can't see her face that well. Then I see a black figure behind her. Now I can see his eyes. They look like pure evil. All black and dark blue. He reaches into his cloak while he is getting closer to the girl. He pulls out an army knife and raises his arm. When he flexes his arm for the kill, he turns into the boy that looks like Martin. His eyes turn bright and happy again. The girl turns around to face him. I see her face. She looks exactly like me. She says something to him, and this time I can hear it.
"I trust you."
Then the boy says something.
"I know you do."
He smiles and opens his arms, and she embraces him. Then they walk away out of the forest. I catch a glimpse of his face while he's walking away. His face is full of worry, and looks like it was torn between two choices. Then I'm whisked out of the vision. Next thing I know, I'm feeling the bench with my fingers, waiting for my eyesight to come back. Once I see the sunlight, I stand there wondering.
"Well, the knife is new."
