"Students. Please pay your attention to the stage."

All of the kids turned their heads to the stage to see the principal and a boy that was looking confidently into the peoples' faces. He was smiling and had a welcoming look in his bright stormy blue colored eyes.

"Students, I'd like you all to meet our newest student. Martin Rider. He just transferred from New York to our school, Roosevelt High in our small town of Iceridge."

People started mumbling, oh great and how will he be. I looked at him squarely in the face. He caught my gaze and held my eyes, until I blushed and looked away. He smiled and chuckled to himself.

"That will be all now students, and make sure Martin finds his way around school."

All the students started getting up and going to their classes. I usually waited so I didn't get trampled to death by the stampede of kids, but I wanted to see the new kid Martin one more time. He reminded me of someone I'd seen before. I tried to get to the door first, but I got stuck in the crowd. I ended up moving like a car on a very busy highway. I got lucky because Martin was also in the crowd. He was behind me a few feet, so I tried to slow down. It's kind of hard to do that when you have a bunch of people in between you. I cut through them and got next to him.

"Hi, I'm Maddie."

"Hello, my name is Martin. I guess you already know that from the assembly, but it doesn't matter."

"Would you like to get together sometime so I could show you around?"

"Sure, I would love to."

"Does Saturday work for you?"

"Great! Well see you around school."

"Bye."

I looked into his eyes. Bright, stormy, and blue. His eyes twinkled at mine. I felt my cheeks getting red and blushing, and I turned my head so he wouldn't see. I snuck a glance at him. He smiled and turned to get to his class. I turned to go to my class feeling something inside me that I never felt before. Before I could think what it was, it hit me. Those eyes....... Martin was the boy from my vision.
