NOTTI AND ELIANNA were sat in a place that they claimed "theirs" which was an old bench that was nearby Notti's house.

they had claimed it "theirs" in 2021 after they carved both their initials as right in the middle of the bench, it read "E+E".

they carved it to prove that no matter what happened to them, they would always be connected.

for some reason, every time Elianna looked at the letter it made her eyes water.

to others it might of been just two letters that two kids "in love" wrote, but it was much more than that.

when it comes to love, you never realise how fast the feeling can develop inside you until it's actually there.

Elianna didn't understand how she could feel so strongly about someone. she didn't know if it was his smile, how when she was talking to people and thought nobody was listening when in reality he was listening the whole him, the way he remembered every little thing she would tell him even when she forgot them herself, or how Notti would sometimes message her and remind her to eat because she would sometimes forget to during the day.

Notti also struggled to understand what it was about Elianna that made him fall harder for her everyday. he wondered if it was the way her eyes would light up when she talked about something she liked, how she printed out almost every picture they had taken and stuck it into her memory book, how she would unknowingly copy his mannerisms or maybe how she would sometimes turn a conversation they were having into a rant, but it was okay because he loved listening to her & hearing her voice.

it slightly scared them both at how strongly they felt about one another.

all these little things that the couple noticed about each other didn't seem so important to others but to them, they were reminders that they were meant to be.

Elianna read over the initials that they had engraved before looking over to Notti who typed away on his phone. although the two were communicating, she still felt how connected they were.

her gaze shifted to across the street to a wall that displayed writing, Elianna squinted her eyes curiously to try focus her vision on the words.

she realised that the words on the wall spelt out 'everythingforray' and 'forever16', making her frown.

it wasn't unusual to see things as unfortunately, many young people died in New York.

her heart never failed to ache anytime she saw or even walked past walls that were filled with writing from loved ones who were mourning someone, she hated how young the people who died were.

Notti looked up from his phone and glanced over tohis girlfriend to make sure that she was okay, he watched as she had a small frown on her face and was looking straight ahead.

her furrowed his eyebrows until he realised what she was looking at, "you good my heart?" he asked.

"mhm." she said simply.

the silence grew as she continued to stare at the wall ahead of her with Notti's gaze still on her, "that was Ray Ray." Notti spoke suddenly.

his words caught her attention as she turned to Notti, "ian know him that well, but he wasn't in a gang." he explained.

she quickly took her eyes from the wall and turned to Notti, "he got shot man." Notti added as he shook his head slightly.

she could hear how sorry he felt for Ray in his tone, she hated that so many people were dying and that the majority of them were young.

"shits sad, too many people are leaving." she spoke sadly, Notti nodded in agreement.

he especially knew how it felt. being in a gang not only meant that he was in constant danger and had to be aware of everyone, it also meant that he had lost a lot of people close to him.

sometimes he regretted his decisions in life, but he knew that everything was for a reason.

lately it had seemed like the only thing that was going to last long in his life was his relationship with his family & most importantly, Elianna.

like Notti mentioned, he had lost many people , but one person had stood by him and supported him and that was Elianna.

he didn't plan on breaking up with her anytime soon. although the couple were young, they had already talked about the future and so much more.

Notti reached his arm out to wrap it around Elianna and bring her closer to him, he wished that moments like these could last forever.

"facts, but we got each other aight?" he said, he looked at her face to see if she agreed and a smile spread on his face as she nodded.

"of course, that's not even a question E." she said with a smile as she looked at her boyfriend.

" she said with a smile as she looked at her boyfriend
