Kyle was sitting in the van and worked on some sort of glove while Echo was still sleeping. Until the ringing of the phone caused him to fall off the couch, again. When he managed to process being woken up so suddenly he overheard the conversation between Kyle and whoever called. It was something about a job in the outskirts of the city, about 50 minutes from their current location. Kyle finished the call and jumped on the drivers seat. "Echo, ready to go?"  He was more motivated than usual. Echo sat down on the couch and a few minutes later they were on the highway. "Hey, Echo. Can you push the blue button next to the DNC sign?" He did as he was told and a neon sign on the outside of the truck shined in a somewhat bright blue. "So, Kyle. I was wondering if I could help with the demon hunting. To repay you for helping me and that."  "I think that should be possible.  Under three conditions. First: Don't tell Nelo about it.  Second: Don't die.  Third: If you feel like you need a break at any point, inform me about it.  Demon hunting is quite exhausting and you'll need your full strenght."  "Don't worry, I'll do my best.  About 40 minutes later at a completely destroyed warehouse which was overrun by demons. A person in military uniform was standing about thirty meters away from it. "Are you the demon hunter?" Kyle put his hat on. "Yep, that's me. Any changes to the demon extermination or still the same?"  "Still the same. But make sure to keep the door to the basement shut. It's demon free and it should stay that way."  Kyle walked towards the warehouse and gave a 'ok' sign with his hand.  The soldier looked at Echo for a few seconds before Kyle tapped Echo on the should, catching his attention. "Still tired? Sure you want to do this?" Echo gave him a confident smile and Kyle gave him Dr. Faust.  "Don't use all of the orbs." He equiped Beowulf V2 and charged it with demonic energy before obliterating the demons.  Meanwhile Echo shot at every demon that got remotely close to him.  Kyle send several demons flying via and uppercut and kicked them into other demons. Everything was good until some sort of red reptile like demon with blades on it's arms appeared. "Echo, make sure it can't  attack you in a straight line!"
Echo slowly retreated while keeping a  demon or a part of the wall between him and the red demon. All of a sudden it began to teleport all around the place and reappeared in front of Echo and crouched down while extending a glowing red blade from it's arm and turned invisible. A split second later, Kyle landed in front of Echo with  some sort of downwards kick, knocking the demon back.  It got back up and glared at Kyle who somewhat glared back while walking in a circle. "And you lost the staring contest. Well, I suppose a Fury does everything at a high speed." The dempn stopped and made a challenging gesture and Kyle raised his gauntlets. His opponent walked a bit closer while extending a blade and Kyle activated his Devil trigger causing three claw like blades to appear on the gloves. The Fury vanished once again and appeared right in front of him but he managed to parry it's attack and performed an uppercut, finishing the demon off. They returned to the soldier who gave them a fancy suitcase whitch contained their payment. " One last question sir. Where fid you find this  cyborg guy?"  " My brother found him somewhere.  He just accompanies me."  They put the suitcase in the van and walked to a nearby shop to buy something to eat. Echo desided to wait outside while Kyle quickly grabbed some food only to find Echo being harassed by a few individuals.  A few minutes later the two returned to the van after walking past five beat up and knocked out individuals. This is an completely unrelated incident.  "Kyle, did you really have to beat them up?"
"Some people only know where the line is after crossing it." When they arrived at the van the phone rang and Kyle picked it up. Nelo told him that a stolen VT7 High-Frequency Blade, called Murasama was supposed to be literally close to their location.  The two left the van and got ready to search the sword, much to Kyle's frustration. "Great, how are supposed to find that thing? It's not like a one of a kind swords falls from heaven."
